“Perry Mason” Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Perry Mason is an upcoming miniseries, based on the Perry Mason series of short stories and novels written by Erle Stanley Gardner, set to premiere on June 21, 2020 on HBO. The series stars Matthew Rhys in the title role. The synopsis reads: “In 1932, the Great Depression grips the United States but Los Angeles is prospering thanks to an oil boom, the film industry, the summer’s Olympic Games, and a massive evangelical Christian revival. Down-and-out criminal defense attorney Perry Mason is retained for a sensational child kidnapping trial and his investigation portends major consequences for Mason, his client, and the city itself.” Given how I haven’t exactly been a fan of reboots of old television in the past I don’t know what I think about this series. I will say that I am not exactly disappointed the series won’t have a big red carpet premiere. Tatiana Maslany is the only person in the cast who is a part that I think could have brought something interesting to the red carpet. She has a tomboy-ish sense of style so picking the right look was key. So I went on a hunt for the perfect look. As soon as I saw this deep wine Christian Siriano Fall 2020 RTW tuxedo which features a ‘Funhouse’ cropped tuxedo blazer and a pair of mid rise flared tuxedo trousers I knew I found it. The look is sleek and sexy, glamorous and edgy and I feel like it would have made for a major look for Tatiana to bring to life on this red carpet especially if styled with a sleek hairstyle, defined eyes, nude lips, black Nicolas Kirkwood ‘Casati’ diamond mesh paneled derbies with pearls embedded in the heel.
