“L.A.’s Finest” Season 2 Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Last year L.A.’s Finest made its debut at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. With that festival also being cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the show’s season 2 getting ready to premiere on June 8, 2020 I highly doubt any red carpets will happen surrounding the show. I can’t say that I watch the show, because I don’t, but with two style stars in the cast I just don’t feel like I could not pick looks for them to have brought to life on a red carpet had it taken place. I absolutely LOVE Gabrielle Union. She is a style chameleon. She doesn’t stick to one look, but she loves bold looks, drama, and glamour. So I decided to turn to a mod 60’s inspired moment from Lanvin Fall 2020 RTW. The brand invited Gabrielle to sit front row at this show so I wanted to pick a look for her from the collection. I adore this seafoam green midi dress which features a rounded neckline and black and silver beading on the straps. I feel like Gabrielle would have definite made this the major 60’s glam moment it deserves to be on the red carpet styling it with a dramatic top bun of thin braids, thick defined eyes, glossy pink lips, a light green and silver glitter Jimmy Choo ‘Ellipse’ clutch, a pair of silver leather Jimmy Choo ‘Birtie’ crystal fringe pointed toe ankle strap pumps, and a selection of Amwaj jewels including beautiful art deco inspired white diamond and emerald drop earrings and a two row white diamond bangle bracelet. With the debut of L.A.’s Finest last year so came the resurrection of my interest in Jessica Alba’s style. For the shows season 2 premiere I went for something super bold with this hot pink Preen by Thornton Bregazzi Fall 2020 RTW strapless silk midi dress which features a sculptural sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder sleeves, a fitted silhouette, and a thigh high side split. This look was one of the few looks from this collection I actually liked. It reminds me a bit of Vivienne Westwood, and I think the color on Jessica would be PHENOMENAL. Styled with soft waves, defined eyes, nude pink lips, a neon pink Edie Parker ‘Mini Lara Moire’ acrylic clutch, a pair of blush pink Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ strappy sandals, and a statement Vivienne Westwood multi-tone pink chunky glass crystal collar necklace I know that this definitely would have been a major moment for Jessica to bring to life on the red carpet.
