Well everyone we have come to the end of my 2019 San Diego Comic-Con wishes. This time next week all eyes will be on San Diego as we learn what to expect next in the world of Comic and Science Fiction film and television. As we have journeyed through all of the wishes that I have for this years Comic-Con I have been picking titles I want to see paneled at Hall H this year as well as shows and films that are confirmed to have panels. This final set of wishes features four ladies who star in four different projects that are confirmed to have panels this year. I love each of the ladies whom are featured today and I am super excited to see what they will bring to the Comic-Con stage next weekend!Ruth Wilson stars in His Dark Materials a new BBC One series which will debut later this year. I always adore Ruth’s style and definite am interested in seeing what she will bring to the stage in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con 2019. She has this very chic and sophisticated sense of style that doesn’t really scream Comic-Con style to me at first. Now I decided to keep a very chic, bold look for Ruth to wear for this panel, but it also gives me enough of a laid back vibe that it works for a Golden Globe award winning actress with this bold red Burberry topstich detail jersey tie neck dress which features long sleeves, a defined waist, and a knee length skirt. The dress could easily also work for a casual press appearance or a photocall at a major film festival. That is why I think it would work for Ruth. It brings down her “extra” just a little bit without compromising the integrity of her style. A sleek side parted low bun, defined eyes, red lips, and a pair of red Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pointed toe suede pumps to make this look glamour and elegance defined. The new TBS series Snowpiercer is one of the impending projects I am very interested in seeing. I was a fan of the 2013 film of the same name by South Korean director Bong Joon Ho which took the Cannes Film Festival by storm and starred Chris Evans, Jamie Bell, Tilda Swinton, and Ed Harris. I am interested in seeing what this new series adaptation will do. It is staring Jennifer Connelly and I am definitely intrigued to see how the face of Louis Vuitton will handle Comic Con style. I don’t really feel like a head to toe Louis Vuitton runway look will work for this event. Instead I headed to LouisVuitton.com and searched the brands digital racks for the perfect look for her to wear for the event while still staying true to her contract (only because I know she won’t stray from LV.) I found this black and white and pink Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2019 long sleeved top with layered sleeves and a peplum waist quite intriguing. Now on any normal day I would expect Jennifer to wear it exactly as presented here, but for this event I decided that I wanted to see the look stripped back a little pairing the top with a pair of white Louis Vuitton skinny jeans, and white leather Louis Vuitton ‘Call Back’ pointed toe boots. A sleek center parted hairstyle and dewy pink makeup would finish this look perfectly for Comic-Con. Cara Delevingne is one of the title stars of the upcoming Amazon Prime Video fantasy, mystery thriller series Carnival Row. The show is going to panel at Comic-Con and I am super excited to see what Cara will wear. I figure she will resort to her standard look with a mini dress or skirt and a pair of over the knee boots. It doesn’t get boring to me. I typically love what she wears and I think that the vibe works for a Comic-Con panel, so I picked this black Antonio Berardi Resort 2020 dress which features an off the shoulder lace-up corseted bodice, sheer billowing sleeves, and a mini length skater skater skirt and a gold metallic pinstripe thread detailed throughout. I definitely think that this dress is something that she would be drawn to and I think that it works perfectly for a Comic-Con. A sleek high ponytail, defined eyes, rose pink lips, a pair of black suede Jimmy Choo ‘Marie’ lace up detail over the knee boots, and Mateo New York 14k fold graduated pearl and diamond hoop earrings with pearl drops would definitely make sure that this look screams Cara from head to toe. Finishing out my 2019 Comic-Con wishes is the gorgeous Ruth Negga, Mega Negga as her team refers to her as. She will be back in San Diego this year once again promoting her AMC series Preacher. I have always felt like Ruth is one of the more underrated stars at Comic-Con. She has always served looks, but people don’t talk about her much. I want that to change this year. I want her to deliver such a chic look that style blogs have no choice but to give her top billing and that is exactly what I think would happen if Ruth stepped onto the stage at Hall H for the Preacher panel wearing this white cotton Proenza Schouler sleeveless belted drop waist trapeze style dress which features black topstiching details. Proenza Schouler is one of the designers whom I think is perfect for an A-List star to wear for Comic-Con, but doesn’t often get the wear that I feel it deserves. I think that makes for the perfect pairing for a major moment here. It would definitely be that way with a tight 20’s inspired tight curly pixie, defined eyes, antique rose pink lips, white Alaia ‘Bombe’ leather stud t-strap sandals, and a pair of Maxior ‘Kaleidoscope teardrop shape stud earrings in 18k yellow gold with white diamonds, black diamonds, and rubies.
The 2019 San Diego Comic-Con will take place from Thursday July 18, 2019 to Sunday July 21, 2019.
