2019 San Diego Comic-Con Red Carpet Wish List Part 3

Today marks the 1/3 of the way through my wishes for the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. As I have mentioned there are several major projects that are confirmed to be teased and promoted at this years convention, and a bunch of projects I think just might be announced in the days to come. Today are wishes for stars of Kingsman: The Great Game, Veronica Mars, and Stranger Things. Each has had their day at Comic-Con in the past and I would definitely expect to see the casts of these films take on the stage at Hall H during the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, I have to sat that I am surprised that there is going to be another film in the Kingsman franchise. After the last film flopped and the fact that none of the previous cast members are returning I feel like the studio should have abandoned it. That being said I do hope that Kingsman: The Great Game star Gemma Arterton will be out to promote the film in the early stages as it is expected to be released Valentine’s Day next year. When it comes to style Gemma can be very back and forth in building my interest. I want to see her deliver a really chic, yet casual moment on the stage at Hall H during San Diego Comic-Con if she steps out to promote her Kingsman film. This navy Emilia Wickstead Resort 2020 suit which features a double breasted blazer and high waisted belted plated cropped pants paired with a white tank top is just that. Suits have been a staple for the a-list at Comic-Con for a while and this is a really good one. A sleek bob, defined eyes, light red lips, and a pair of navy blue and silver Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ moire pointed toe pumps would finish the look in a really chic manner.  Sometimes I wonder why the world we live in can’t let things run their course, end, and stay the way there were. Veronica Mars was a beloved TV show for three season from 2004-2006. Since then there was a movie in 2014, which basically bombed, and now Hulu has decided to resurrect the franchise again for another season on its streaming platform. I will say I don’t know if I will actually watch this season of the show. That all being said this panel will be the kick off to a busy fall season for Kristen Bell. She has this project to promote, a possible Emmy nomination coming her way for her performance in The Good Place, and of course the much anticipated Frozen 2 promo tour coming. I decided to snatch a look off the virtual racks of NORDSTROM for Kristen to wear for the San Diego Comic-Con panel for Veronica Mars picking this “warm caramel’ floral print Kate Spade New York ‘Floradoodle’ halter dress. Kate Spade has seen a big resurgence in stars wearing the label over the last year or so and this pretty casual dress would be perfect for Comic-Con. Finishing this look with loose low bun updo, defined eyes, dewy face, blush pink, gold Stuart Weitzman ‘Joni’ metallic leather platform sandals, and a pair of Swarovski pink pear shaped crystal drop earrings would definitely allow for Kristen to take on Comic-Con in a very chic way.Stranger Things just dropped season 3 on Netflix, and that is my plan for today. I’m sitting on my couch watching this new season and writing blog posts for the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con. But before that I want to get my wishes for the show’s panel at the convention out there. I haven’t confirmed that the show will actually have a panel this year, but given the new release and the fact it has typically had one I am sure that we will the the cast at Comic-Con again this year. My favorite star in the cast of Stranger Things is 15 year old Millie Bobby Brown. She has become quite the fashionista since she burst onto the scene when the show debuted in 2016. Following Raf Simons leaving Calvin Klein she is no longer attached to the brand and now it seems like she might end up a face of Louis Vuitton. I thought about picking an LV look for Millie to wear for Comic-Con, but then I saw this mismatched floral print Christopher Kane long sleeve dress on the virtual racks of Matches Fashion and fell in love with the idea of seeing it on Millie. On the 15 year old actress this dress would actually hit the knee and be totally age appropriate. Her signature loose wavy bob, simple classic makeup, rose pink lips, and a pair of black and pink Christopher Kane latex sling back low heel pumps would definitely finish this look perfectly.  Natalia Dyer always deliver chic and flirty feminine moments on the red carpet. I love her for that. I want to see her continue to deliver chic moments red carpet. For the Comic-Con panel for Stranger Things I want to see beautiful and feminine elegance wearing this pink and purple hibiscus print Warm Pre-Fall 2019 midi length gown which features tied shoulders, a v-neckline, and a flared hem. Warm is a very chic label that we haven’t seen a whole lot of on the red carpet and I definitely think that this dress on Natalia would be a major moment for the brand to have especially if she paired it with chic waves, defined eyes, blush lips, a pair of nude Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ strappy sandals, and Jane Basch pearl pendant hoop earrings. Noah Schnapp might only be 14, but he is definitely one of the best dressed men in Hollywood. His stylist Philippe Uter is amazing. He pushes the boundaries on what is perfect for not only a teenager but also a man to wear on a red carpet. For the Stranger Things panel I am really excited to see what Noah will wear. He has been wearing a lot of Fendi on the red carpets lately, and I definitely considered a couple of options from the label. Ultimately I decided to go in a little different of a direction picking this green and black Prada x Frankenstein short sleeve bowling style shirt for Noah to wear on this red carpet. I believe that while it could be a little kitschy to wear a monster printed pop art shirt for Comic-Con, but if done the right way it would be the perfect ‘Nerd Chic’ look for a panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Styling the look with black fitted jeans and a pair of neon green and black Prada ‘Polyamide Cloudbust’ sneakers would make this look perfect meshing of nerd and fashion for this event.

The 2019 San Diego Comic-Con will take place from Thursday July 18, 2019 to Sunday July 21, 2019.
