2019 Oscar Parties Red Carpet Wish List Part 4

Are you getting excited for Oscar night? I am. It is just a week and a half away and I am ready to stay up all night working on all things covering the red carpets of the night. From the main ceremony to the parties stars bring their a-game to the red carpets on Oscar night and with looks that just came down the runways in Paris at the Spring 2019 Couture shows and in New York at the Fall 2019 RTW shows I am super excited to see what all the power stylists are calling in. Amy Adams seemed to be the favorite heading into the start of awards season this year to take the awards season road all the way to the Oscars winning in the Best Supporting Actress category, but then Regina King picked up speed. I have picked a really beautiful Elie Saab Couture gown for Amy to wear on the red carpet at the main ceremony, but something tells me Amy will change into something simpler for the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Amy always looks amazing when she wears Roland Mouret so I decided to go to the virtual racks of the brands online store and find a perfect gown for her to wear on this red carpet. I love the idea of Amy wearing this navy Roland Mouret ‘Bond’ strapless wool crepe gown which floor-pooling silhouette, bandeau top, sweetheart neckline, an an asymmetrical peplum waist. It is that simple yet glamorous structured gown that Amy tends to wear on the red carpet and I think that for an after party red carpet it is a perfect option. I would add some fun to the look with a black Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ feather embellished clasp velvet clutch and a pair of Cartier high jewelry modern art deco diamond and sapphire fringe drop earrings. A sleek center parted hairstyle tucked behind the ears, smokey eyes, red lips, and a pair of black Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals would add the perfect finishing touches to this look.Emma Roberts is a frequent face whom we see on the red carpet in some capacity on Oscar night. I am always going back and forth with Emma’s style. Sometimes she really makes me excited, sometimes she makes me really question her choices, and sometimes she just leaves me indifferent. I want her to make my heart flutter because she is wearing something absolutely amazing if she steps onto the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Last year she took inspiration from the 30’s rocking a soft pastel yellow custom Prada sequined gown with a white feathered stole and I loved it. Definitely was one of Emma’s best red carpet looks ever. This year I am moving on to the 50’s with this peach pink Christian Dior Spring 2019 Couture strapless a-line gown which features a ruffled neckline, harlequin sequined embroidery, and all over pleating for Emma to rock on this red carpet. I believe that this beautiful gown would be absolutely on Emma. She hasn’t worn a Dior couture look on the red carpet yet, but has worn a lot of the brands RTW. What would be a better night than Oscar night for Emma to have her first Dior Couture moment on the red carpet? Finish the look with a sleek updo, defined eyes, nude lips, a gold Tyler Ellis ‘Perry’ metallic stingray leather clutch, a pair of gold Stuart Weitzman ‘Starla’ strappy glittered sandals, and a selection of Brumani ‘Looping’ collection drop earrings and band rings and I know that this will be head to toe perfection. Karlie Kloss is gearing up for her first real television show debut where she will be hosting the new build up of Project Runway replacing Heidi Klum. I have long adored Karlie but when it comes to her red carpet looks I always look for more from her. I am expecting to see her on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and to do so I wanted to see her bring a really bold and glamorous moment to the red carpet with a look from new Project Runway judge Brandon Maxwell. I fell in LOVE with this black satin Brandon Maxwell Fall 2019 RTW ball gown which features a scoop neck tank style bodice and a belted waist come down the runway last week and I knew I wanted to see it on an Oscar night red carpet and I just think that Karlie is the perfect person to bring it to life. It isn’t very often that Karlie takes the go big or go home mandate of some of the biggest red carpets, but I think that this simplistic nature of this gown would definitely draw her in. Add a sleek side parted low bun, defined eyes, red lips, black satin Roger Vivier ‘Sin Drape Cigarette’ sandals, and a pair of Chopard Red Carpet Collection diamond and teardrop emerald pendant drop earrings and I know that Karlie would shit down the red carpet. Kate Beckinsale is always one I get excited about on the red carpet and since she is a regular at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party I am PRAYING that she takes to the red carpet in a major fashion moment. I am almost hoping that Kate will bring a major Marchesa moment to the red carpet, but since I think that would come from the new Fall 2019 RTW collection that has yet to be presented. So instead I went to the recently presented Giambattista Valli Spring 2019 Couture collection and found this dark gold metallic lamé off the shoulder gown which features intricate pleating, a cutout under the boob, a sweeping train, and black satin bow details on the sleeves. This gown is definitely something I can picture Kate loving and it is the perfect kind of look for an Oscar party especially if she pairs it with a romantic pulled back updo, defined eyes, dark rose pink lips, a pair of black Casadei crossover strap sandals, and Fernando Jorge ‘Fusion’ 18k rose gold, ruby, and rhodolite intricate drop earrings. Sarah Paulson is presenting at the Oscars for the first time this year. She previously was a guest in 2014 when her film Carol was nominated, but this is the first time that she will present. I saw her name on the list and I got really excited. She always knows how to own a red carpet. I am working out the perfect gown for her to wear on the ceremony red carpet, but I did find the perfect look for her to wear for the red carpet at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. I would love to see Sarah wearing this black sequined lace Chanel Spring 2019 Couture strapless tea length gown which features a ruffle detail down the side and a satin ribbon waist. It is a simple yet glamorous gown and I definitely think that Sarah would wear it with a simplistic grace and glamour. Add a sleek bob, defined eyes, red lips, a black velvet Tyler Ellis ‘Lily’ clutch, Roger Vivier ‘Viv’ black satin platform sandals, and a pair of vintage mid century diamond and emerald fan drop earrings from Beladora and Sarah would be able to party the night away in style.

The Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party and the Vanity Fair Oscar Party will take place on Sunday February 24, 2019.
