2019 Grammy Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 4

I’ve gotten a little behind in my wishes for this weekends Grammy Awards so I’m not going to bore you with a big intro paragraph and just get right on into the meat of this set of wishes. Camila Cabello never really wows me. She changed stylists last year and even Karla Welch (who I admire as a goddess) hasn’t made me fall in love with her. I know that Camila has potential, but she tends to pick over complicated designs. I made wishes to streamline her style, but I decided to go all in for the look I want to see her wear on Sunday night. I personally hate this lilac Christian Siriano Pre-Fall 2019 ensemble which features a knit over bust turtleneck, a white ‘IT GIRL’ t-shirt, and a tiered tulle ball skirt. It is god awful fugly, but it is exactly what I can picture Camila being drawn to for this red carpet. It is a meshing of 80’s quinceanera and Flashdance. I don’t expect this to be a best dressed moment, in fact it would probably be a worst dressed look. I do see her wearing this look with a curly updo, defined eyes, soft pink lips, a pair of white Jimmy Choo ‘Santina’ satin crustal strap platform sandals, and SHEE’S Fine Jewelry diamonds including ‘Raphael’ wing earrings and a two finger ‘Gabriel’ wing cocktail ring. It would be quite the sight.Blake Shelton is nominated for a Best Country Song and I wonder if that means he and fiance Gwen Stefani will be on the red carpet together. The two have only walked a red carpet together a small handful of times. Usually Blake walks the red carpet solo and Gwen sneaks in a side door wearing some very embellished mini dress. I decided I wanted a really sexy and glamorous moment via this dark crimson red Zuhair Murad Fall 2018 Couture column gown which features a dramatic structured bustier bodice with a plunging neckline, velvet waist band, peplum waist, off the shoulder sleeves, intricate embroidery, and sheer construction from Gwen and so I think that she should walk the red carpet with Blake if he is attending the Grammy Awards on Sunday. Add a pair of simple black Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Alina Bow’ satin sandals, a vintage inspired updo, thick winged eyes, bold matching red lips, and a pair of statement Butani ruby and diamond drop earrings and this could be one of Gwen’s best red carpet moments ever. Justin Timberlake has two nominations this year at the Grammy Awards and I am ready to see him bring a really chic moment to the red carpet. He used to be a favorite, but with his Man of the Woods came this more rugged look. I don’t like it. I want to see Justin bring back the sexy fitted suits with this navy silk Hermes Fall 2019 Menswear peak lapel two button suit paired with a black zip up turtleneck. It was the first thing I saw that clicked for me and I definitely think that he would sell this look to me. His buzz cut & a pair of black Jimmy Choo ‘Tyler’ shiny calf leather and suede lace up shoes would finish the look out perfectly. Kendrick Lamar has the most nominations of anyone this year with eight. He doesn’t do a whole lot of red carpets. He hasn’t gone to any of the film awards where he has been nominated this year. I am hoping though with him expected to take home several Grammy’s that he should definitely rock the red carpet this Sunday. I turned to Virgil Abloh’s latest collection for Louis Vuitton and this black and grey Africa shaped houndstooth print oversized suit and matching shirt. It hails from the brands Fall 2019 Menswear collection and I definitely think it would be the most major thing that Kendrick has worn on a red carpet, ever. It screams Grammy’s and I know that Kendrick could sell it to me with ease.

The 2019 Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday February 10, 2019.
