It has finally happened we have reached my final wish for the 2019 Critics Choice Awards that will take place tomorrow night. The red carpet is definitely one of the more interested in seeing what everyone is planning to bring to the red carpet. This is one of the more casual red carpets of awards season. We see just about everything on this red carpet. Couture, ready to wear, cocktail, jumpsuits, and gowns are all things that we tend to see on the red carpet. Kristen Bell wore a very simple blush pink Zuhair Murad pleated gown for the Golden Globe Awards last weekend. I want to see her take to the red carpet tomorrow night in something a little more statement making. I love this aquamarine and black Rasario Spring 2019 RTW ballgown which features a velvet bralet bodice, keyhole cutout, thin straps, and a high waisted silk ball skirt and I absolutely believe it would be something that Kristen would be drawn to. Honestly I will feel like Kristen should have swapped her gowns if she wore this tomorrow night, but I’ll love it none the less. A sleek updo, defined eyes, nude lips, black Gucci ‘Ilse’ crystal embellished ankle strap sandals, and a pair of Amwaj diamond chandelier earrings would all add the perfect finishing touches to this ensemble. Mandy Moore has been MIA so far this awards season so I was excited to see her name on the list of presenters announced for the 2019 Critics Choice Awards tomorrow night. Since she started working with Cristina Ehrlich last year she has been deliver a different level of designer and glamour on the red carpet. She has evolved. As a presenter and not a nominee tomorrow night I would love to see Mandy wearing this silver Oscar de la Renta gown which features a straight strapless neckline, relaxed straight silhouette, ankle length, a gold butterfly embellishment detail at upper thigh with front leg slit, and all over metallic glitter fabrication. The shorter length of this gown is definitely something I think is perfect for Mandy to wear on this red carpet, especially since she is just there as a presenter. Add a gold Rafe ‘Vivienne’ faceted minaudiere, sleek low bun, smokey eyes, nude lips, a pair of gold Jimmy Choo ‘Misty’ metallic leather sandals, and David Webb elongated pear-shaped green tourmaline, brilliant-cut diamond, and white enamel earrings and I know that Mandy will own this look on the red carpet. I was a little surprised that without a nomination that Nicole Kidman will be on the red carpet tomorrow night as a presenter. I’m honestly a little unsure of what Nicole would wear just as a presenter for this red carpet. It could be a case of she should have saved the oxblood sequin Michael Kors gown that she wore for the Golden Globe Awards. I decided to go for a mix of 40’s and menswear inspiration picking this Alexis Mabille Fall 2018 Couture ‘Spencer’ gown rendered in black and pale pink crepe and features tuxedo inspired bodice with satin collar and split sleeves and a column silhouette because it is just the glamour that I am expecting from Nicole this awards season. The structured gown is perfect for her and I think that with a sleek vintage inspired updo, smokey eyes, red lip, black Roger Vivier ‘Star’ crystal detail satin clutch, a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Directoire’ cutout fishnet lace and bow detail pumps, and vintage art deco Fred Leighton ribbon style drop earrings would ensure this look is the definition of glamour. Olivia Munn was the host of last years Critics Choice Awards and she will be back on the red carpet tomorrow night ahead of presenting at this years edition of the show. Olivia brings glamour to the red carpet and I want to see her bring a really chic Marchesa moment to the red carpet tomorrow night. I love this very romantic black lace gown which features a sculptural bodice with a peplum waist, a 3 dimensional pink and mauve stamped silk organza petal corsage, and a fluted skirt from the Marchesa Pre-Fall 2019 collection and I think that with Olivia’s glamorous sex appeal that this moment would be absolute perfection. It would be glamour defined with a romantic updo, smokey eyes, matching pink lips, a black Judith Leiber Couture ‘Cherry Cayman’ crocodile box clutch, a pair of strappy black Jimmy Choo ‘Mimi’ sandals, and dazzling vintage floral diamond cluster earrings from Beladora.

The 2019 Critics Choice Awards will take place on Sunday January 13, 2019.
