“Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald” London Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

They cut the promo tour for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald from stops in NYC, Paris, and London to just Paris and London. Last week the cast gathered in Paris and really brought their a-game. We saw Ezra Miller bring Michelin man chic in Moncler Genius x Pierpaolo Piccioli to Eddie Redmayne’s wife Hannah wearing runway Dior Couture. I was definitely not disappointed and I am hoping that is just a taste of what we are in for when they jet off to London for the films premiere there. The cast could really go all out in London, and they should. In Paris Katherine Waterston shocked me wearing a voluminous pants ensemble from The Row. I had been wondering when I was going to get to use that look because I really loved it, but I couldn’t seem to find the right fit for person and event. Katherine more than did it justice and I want to see her keep that up in London. I stuck with black and volume opting for this black Valentino Spring 2019 RTW long sleeve gown which features a round fan pleated bodice, ruffle neckline, and a pleated floor length skirt. The gown itself is dramatic as heel and as long as Katherine just nails simplistic styling and floats down the red carpet I know it would be an absolutely major fashion moment on this red carpet. I would just add defined eyes, red lips, sleek hair, and a pair of black Gianvito Rossi ‘Portofino’ sandals to ensure this look is perfection. Zoe Kravitz gave me a real Best Dressed of the Year contender at the Paris premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald wearing a custom Saint Laurent sequined gown which featured a bold hot pink bodice and bow. She really does Saint Laurent proud on the red carpet. She is one of their beauty ambassadors so my wish for her to wear on the red carpet at the films premiere in London is a little far fetched. The moment I saw the gold sequin one shoulder sequin goddess draped mini dress come down the Celine Spring 2019 RTW runway I thought it would make for a really glamorous gown. In fact it was one of the ideas I sent to my photo editor to design straight from the runway without a particular event or person in mind for it. Zoe has been able to wear more than just Saint Laurent on the red carpet, but I wonder how the corporate team would feel if she stepped out wearing Celine on the red carpet. They are very upset that Heidi Slimane, the former YSL creative director, is back on the design scene and since the labels are so similar I wonder if they would let Zoe wear Celine. I think her vibe perfectly matches Heidi’s Celine and she would shut down this gown on the red carpet. A chic braided updo, defined eyes, antique rose pink lips, a pair of gold Aquazzura ‘Purist’ metallic leather sandals, and Aurelie Bidermann 18k yellow gold and diamond lace drop earrings would ensure that this is another Best Dressed of the Year worthy moment.

The London premiere of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindlewald will take place tomorrow Tuesday November 13, 2018.
