I’m uber excited to see what will come down the runway at the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which is being taped in NYC on Thursday ahead of it being aired on ABC on December 2, 2018. The crop of models this year is amazing and there are more performers than ever before and that is why I am really excited.Almost capping off a major year Bebe Rexha is one of the many performers for this years Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Typically there are two or three and often one (or more) perform more than one song. With how many artists are confirmed to perform this year I don’t think that is what the case will be this year. What will Bebe perform? That I don’t know, but I do know she is going to be serving looks on both the stage and the red carpet at the after party. She is the only one in all my wishes whom I have picked something that touches the floor. I immediately thought of this black Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2018 Couture tiered gown which features a strapless neckline, a ribbon defined belted waist, crystal trimming, and a high low hemline for Bebe to bring to life on this red carpet. It is that perfect meshing of sexy and glamour and I know that if anyone could sell it to me it would be Bebe. She has that attitude to really make it work. Her signature bob, smokey eyes, red lips, a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Sandale Du Desert’ leather and crepe satin ribbon ankle wrap sandals, and black diamond Hueb ‘Luminous’ cluster earrings all would compliment this gown perfectly. Candice Swanepoel has to be one of the most iconic angels that walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Runway, but she isn’t one who is a major style star on the red carpet. I honestly can’t think of any of her previous red carpet looks. I decided that I wanted to go glamorous and sexy for Candice to rock on this red carpet opting for this black Dion Lee Spring 2019 RTW lace paneled cutout gown which makes an edgy, sexy, and glamorous moment. It is definitely something that I think Candice would be drawn to and I really do believe that she could make it a very chic moment for herself especially when paired with old Hollywood waves, defined eyes, nude lips, and a pair of black Saint Laurent ‘Kate’ crystal trimmed satin sandals. Kendall Jenner didn’t get cast in last years Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show because she was still under contract with competitive lingerie brand La Perla. I have to say I was a little surprised that they cast her this year. The team at Victoria’s Secret tends to hold grudges with stars who go to other brands for a paycheck (just look at Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Doutzen Kroes) so I was definitely surprised when Brian Atwood (who designs the shoes for the show) posted an Instagram that he couldn’t “wait to see this beauty…strutting in my shoes” for this years show. That was all the confirmation we needed to know that Kenny was back. I personally don’t like her. I don’t think she works as hard as some of the other girls and she is going to be one of the most Instagrammed girls of the show. I don’t have high expectations for her after-party look. I did pick this black velvet Balenciaga Spring 2019 RTW long sleeve mini dress which features a chic curved neckline for her because that is exactly what I think that it is something that Kendall would absolutely wear. We don’t often see Balenciaga lend out for the red carpet, so is this hot off the runway dress something likely? Probably not, but I think it fits her style. Add a sleek high pony, defined eyes, red lips, and a pair of black Aquazzura ‘Party’ sequin embossed pumps to really make it perfect for Kendall to rock on this red carpet. Stella Maxwell is one of the, in my opinion, most underrated models style wise on the red carpet. She has rocked designers like Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, Roberto Cavalli Couture, Moschino, Chanel, and Balmain for major events including the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, the Met Gala, and the Cannes Film Festival. Last year at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after party Stella brought sexy glamour to the red carpet wearing a sheer Georges Hobeika Couture beaded one shoulder gown. I didn’t love her thong being so visible. I want to see her bring the sexy, flirtatious glamour to this years red carpet picking this lavender and black Versace Spring 2019 RTW floral print chainmail mini dress to this red carpet. It is the perfect party dress and I really do believe that Stella would bring this dress to life with her inherent sex appeal. Most would pick a pair of very strappy sandals, but I think that a pair of dark purple Saint Laurent ‘Anja’ metallic pointed toe pumps are what I would pick for Stella to wear on this red carpet. Sleek center parted hair tucked behind the ears and smokey eyes would add the perfect beauty touches to this look. Winnie Harlow is going to make history with her first walk for Victoria’s Secret this year. She has long been one of my favorites on both the runways and the red carpets. She has redefined “beauty” standards and I am sure that Tyra Banks is proud (Winnie placed 6th on the 21st cycle of America’s Next Top Model.) I have high expectations for what Winnie will bring to this red carpet because she almost always slays me. For the red carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after party I love this black and silver sequin Dundas Spring 2019 RTW long sleeve mini dress which features a bold panther on the front, strong shoulders, and an asymmetrical layered bubble hem for Winnie. It is again that sexy take on glamour that I think is perfect for a Victoria’s Secret party red carpet. We tend to see a lot of models rock mini dresses and thigh high boots on the red carpet and Winnie is the only one who I actually picked a pair of boots for instead of sandals or pumps. I would pair the look with black Jimmy Choo ‘Toni’ crystal embellished suede over the knee boots, sleek center parted hair, smokey eyes, & nude lips to really ensure it is head to toe perfection.
The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will take place in New York City on Thursday November 8, 2018 and will be shown on ABC on Sunday December 2, 2018.
