“Bohemian Rhapsody” London Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

On Tuesday in London is the gala premiere of Bohemian Rhapsody. It comes right on the heels of the closing of the London Film Festival. I have been very excited about this movie and I am truly excited to see what the cast will bring to the red carpet. This very well could be the start of an Oscar campaign for this film and I am always interested in seeing what great menswear will be brought to the red carpet. We have seen Timothee Chalamet really bring the fashON to the red carpet with bold looks from Haider Ackermann and Alexander McQueen and I am hoping that other stars will continue to push the boundaries of what is “okay” for menswear on the red carpet. Rami Malek has also pushed boundaries of style on the red carpet thanks to designers like Givenchy, Thom Browne, Dior Homme, Burberry, and more. I decided to go a little more classic, but done in the sharpest way possible with this Alexander McQueen Spring 2019 Menswear ensemble which features a slim fit navy two button suit, a black one button overcoat with white french cuffs, and a white crew neck t-shirt for him to bring to life on this red carpet. Is this the most boundary pushing look out there? No. But it is incredibly sharp and has just the right amount of edge via the t-shirt and french cuffs that I think it would be a perfect moment on the red carpet for this premiere especially when he pairs the suit with a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Citycroc’ leather boots.

The London premiere of Bohemian Rhapsody will take place on Tuesday October 23, 2018.
