The final movie I wanted to put a wish list together for without a confirmed premiere date is The House with a Clock in its Walls. This movie is looking like it will be a family friendly thriller. Perfect for its release date of September 21, 2018. It does seem like a red carpet that is poised for anything and I hope that the fantasy aspect of this film bleeds into what the cast wears on the red carpet. Cate Blanchett plays Mrs. Zimmerman in The House with a Clock in its Walls and her character is known for her purple coat dress. I decided to go left of what her character is known for and opt for a gown that perfect meshes ethereal glamour with sleek structure. I am obsessed with everything that Clare Waight Keller has done at Givenchy. She continues to out do herself every season and I really cannot wait to see the Fall 2018 Couture collection on the red carpet. I feel like Cate would be the epitome of glamour wearing this eggshell Givenchy Fall 2018 Couture long sleeve gown which features a chiffon cape, column skirt, and a dramatic train on this red carpet. I think that it is just simple and elegant and that Cate’s regal and statuesque presence would really make it come to life on the red carpet. I would remove the silver metal harness from the bodice of the gown, but would keep the wrist cuffs. I think that the harness makes it more edgy than glamorous and I think that Cate would make it more of a simplistic glam moment. A pair of metallic nude Aquazzura ‘Illusion’ sandals with a crystal studded PVC ankle cuff, a vintage inspired updo, smokey eyes, pink lips, and Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Collection diamond and citrine feather earrings would really make this an absolutely glamorous moment on this red carpet. Renee Elise Goldsberry is making her feature film debut with The House with a Clock in its Wall. I really learned about the actress in the run up to the 2016 Tony Awards where she won Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton. On that night Renee wore an edgy glam Marc Jacobs gown on the red carpet and once she got inside she picked up her tony award wearing an Oscar de la Renta gown. Since then her style has been a little more low key, but I think that if she is going to, once again, be on a red carpet with Cate Blanchett (Cate presented at the 2016 Tony Awards) that we will see Renee bring her top form glamour to the red carpet. For that red carpet she was styled by the team at VOGUE and since then she has bounced around stylists. Personally if I had to pick just one for her I would either have her start working with Law Roach, Thomas Carter Phillips, or me obviously. If I were styling Renee for this premiere I would go short but dazzling with this gold and silver Oscar de la Renta jewel neck sleeveless sequin fringe cocktail dress. It is beautiful and eye catching moment and I think that with a metallic cream velvet Tyler Ellis ‘Perry’ clutch, sleek center parted locks, defined eyes, nude glossy lips, champagne glitter Sophia Webster ‘Rosalind’ crystal heel sandals, and a selection of jewels from Beladora including a pair of diamond leaf earrings in 14K gold and platinum and a rare vintage Bulgari white and yellow gold and diamond coil bracelet that this look is read carpet ready.
