2018 Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 5

A week from tomorrow the best of young Hollywood will all put on their flirty best and step onto the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards. I honestly still have very little idea of who will be on this red carpet. I just hope that the stars that do attend really bring the fun glam to the red carpet. When I think of this red carpet I tend to think of mini dresses from Monique Lhuillier, Zuhair Murad, and Christian Siriano. I want to see a lot more variety in designer this year. From off the rack to off the runway, to couture there are so many options out there that I think would be a perfect look for this red carpet. I’ve recently become intrigued with Riverdale star, and Choice TV Drama Actress nominee, Camila Mendes on the red carpet. I wouldn’t say shes one of my fashionista’s to watch yet, but I definitely think that she could be heading in that direction. I think that if Camila really wanted to spark a fashionable ripple effect that she should call up Anna Suit for her Teen Choice Awards red carpet look. We don’t really see a whole lot of Anna Sui on the red carpet, but every once in a blue moon it does happen. I think that if Camila wore this silver Anna Suit Fall 2018 RTW ‘Moon Dust’ cocktail dress which features an asymmetrical hem. sleeveless halter neckline, and a sequin embroidered design the she would definitely have a really major fashion moment for this red carpet. I think that the effortlessness of this dress is perfect to be paired with a loose updo, soft smokey eyes, pink lips, and a pair of powder blue Jimmy Choo ‘Misty’ sandals. Hailee Steinfeld is nominated for Choice Comedy Actress for her role in Pitch Perfect 3 at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards and with her film Bumblebee’s release set for December I feel like we will see her keeping up appearances between now and then. I haven’t confirmed that Hailee will be on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet, but I feel like it is highly likely that she will be. In the past we have seen Hailee walk the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards wearing looks from House of Holland and Elie Saab, the look I’ve picked for her to rock this year is totally different from that. I went to couture for Hailee because I think that this completely beaded Zuhair Murad Fall 2018 Couture gold romper which features long sleeves, a plunging v-neckline, and gold belted waist is fun, glamorous, and sexy. That is what I think is perfect for Hailee to bring to this red carpet even if it is couture. Styling it with a sleek high pony, defined eyes, red lips, a black, white, and gold wave print Corto Moltedo ‘Susan C Star pleated clutch, and a pair of gold Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ laser cut pattern pointed toe pumps would really make this an absolutely major moment on this red carpet.Kelsea Ballerini walked the red carpet at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards, wearing Cynthia Rowley, and then skipped the show last year. Since the last time she walked this red carpet the Choice Country Artist nominee’s style has really evolved. Recently we have seen Kelsea wearing brands like Brandon Maxwell, Michael Kors, Versus Versace, and Zac Posen. So I really want to see Kelsea continue to explore fashion brands and I feel like she would shut the red carpet down wearing this green and purple sequin floral print Halpern Fall 2018 RTW strapless column dress which features a below the knee hem and a center split. This dress is incredibly dazzling and I definitely think that it would be a fun, yet sophisticated, moment for Kelsea to bring to this red carpet especially when paired with chic waves, defined eyes, glossy nude lips, a black crystal embellished Rodo box clutch, and a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Sofia’ sandals.Olivia Cooke has made some very fashionable choices this year rocking looks from Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, and Prada. I don’t necessarily believe that she, even though she is nominated for Choice Sci-Fi Movie Actress and Choice Breakout Movie Star, will actually step out. I think that is reflected in the choice in look I’ve picked for her. I don’t think that Olivia will necessarily walk this red carpet, but if she did I like the idea of her wearing this graphic print Christian Dior Fall 2018 RTW short sleeve t-shirt and mini skirt ensemble. I don’t think we would see current season, not off the runway Dior on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet, but if Olivia wanted to bring the fashion factor to this red carpet this would be a great option for her. A black Christian Dior ‘Mini Saddle’ bag, black glitter Stuart Weitzman ‘100SQUARENUDIST’ sandals, a messy updo, & defined eyes all would make this a chic fashion moment, yet incredibly event appropriate moment. I have to say based on the face that Timothee Chalamet is nominated for Choice Drama Movie Actor for his role in Lady Bird that the likelihood that we will see him step on the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards red carpet is pretty unlikely. As one of the few men who can take a style risk on the red carpet I would really like to see what he would bring to this red carpet. On the most casual red carpet of awards season, the Independent Spirit Awards, Timothee rocked a white Off-White trucker uniform top and black pants. I kept to the idea of that but turning to Haider Ackermann for the perfect look for Timothee to rock for the Teen Choice Awards. I don’t think I would have ever picked a look from Haider Ackermann for anyone other than Timothee to rock on this red carpet, but I think that this ensemble from the brands Fall 2018 Menswear ensemble which features a light blue and navy trimmed long sleeve printed pajama style button down and caramel high waisted pants is just perfect for him. It is that more laid back style, but I think that is is perfectly in line with Timothee’s style.

The 2018 Teen Choice Awards will take place on Sunday August 12, 2018.
