“Peppermint” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Peppermint seems like it is going to be a total badass mom movie. IMDB describes the film as ” a revenge story centering on a young mother who finds herself with nothing to lose, and is now going to take from her enemies the very life they stole from her.” That sounds like the ultimate you hurt the cubs mama bear is coming after you kind of movie. I would imagine though that the screening of this film is going to be a little more low key than some of the big premieres that we are used to seeing. We could very well see this film screened and instead of the big step and repeat red carpet that the photos are taken in front of the films posters on tripods, that would be the most casual kind of premiere, With that thought in my head I didn’t want to go too over the top with my wish for Jennifer Garner, but I still wanted something extremely chic. Jennifer wears a lot of Roland Mouret on the red carpet and so it was an easy idea for me to pick a dress from him for her to wear on this red carpet. This navy Roland Mouret ‘Elsom’ stretch viscose pencil dress which features an off-center V-shaped neckline with a shoulder-exposing cap sleeve on the other, and an angled seam at the waist breaks up the lines toes the lines of a wear to work dress and a cocktail ensemble, and that is exactly what I am expecting to see from Jennifer on a red carpet like this. I didn’t go too over the top with the styling adding a navy Bottega Veneta woven knot clasp clutch, a pair of navy Christian Louboutin ‘Mascaralta’ peep toe ankle strap pumps, sleek center parted hair tucked behind the ears, defined eyes, and red lips to really make this a perfect red carpet ensemble for a simpler red carpet premiere like I’m predicting this will be.
