2018 San Diego Comic-Con Red Carpet Wish List Part 4

We are just 13 days away from the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con and now over half way done with all the wishes I have for stars to bring the fashion factor to the event. The event is sounding like it may be incredibly star studded this year, as it has always been, and I always get excited to see what the stars will bring as major ‘casual’ ensembles during the convention. From movies to television there is almost always a bevy of chic moments from everyone as they promote their latest Sci-Fi projects. It was at San Diego Comic-Con 2017 that it was announced that Brie Larson would take on the character of Captain Marvel in the film of the same name. That movie is expected in early March of next year and it would really surprise me if we don’t see Brie back at Comic-Con again this year to continue to build hype for the film. I loved Brie’s last red carpet moment in bubblegum pink polka dotted Carolina Herrera so much that I decided I wanted to keep the pink theme going with the look I would love to see her wearing during Comic-Con. This very chic and simple Isabel Marant Resort 2019 ensemble which features a pink and white short sleeve button down top and a pink corduroy mini skirt with pockets would be a really chic moment for her to bring to this event. It gives easy effortlessly chic vibes and I think that is exactly what you need for the perfect Comic-Con ensemble. Finishing the look with loose waves, very simple makeup, and a pair of dark raspberry pink Brian Atwood buckle strap low gold heel sandals would really ensure that this is a perfectly chic Comic-Con moment for Brie. We very well could see Eiza Gonzalez step out for the 20th Century Fox presentation panel during Comic-Con 2018 to promote her upcoming film Alita: Battle Angel which will be released in December. Eiza became a face to notice last year when she stared alongside Ansel Elgort in Baby Driver. Since then she has become a bit of a fashion star wearing looks from Ralph Lauren, Dior, Marchesa, Schiaparelli Couture, and Prabal Gurung. I feel like she is definitely one of the starlets to watch as her star continues to rise. I went for a really chic fashON moment for Eiza to rock for Comic-Con picking this brown and red floral print Chloe Fall 2018 RTW jumpsuit which features a high neck, collar bone cutouts, slightly puffy shoulders, long sleeves, gold armbands, and wide leg pants. This is definitely one of the biggest fashion risks that I picked for Comic-Con, but I really do believe that if anyone could really sell this look to me on the red carpet it would be Eiza. She oozes this effortless mix of sophistication and sex appeal and I think that would really make this look sizzle especially when paired with a sleek high pony, defined eyes, nude lips, and a pair of dark wine red Tom Ford ‘Golden Stack’ half d’orsay pumps. Hailee Steinfeld will be seen at Comic-Con this year to promote the Transformers series film Bumblebee. I have always been a fan of Hailee’s style and I am excited to see what she will bring to her first Comic-Con in four years. The last time Hailee was at Comic-Con she was promoting Ender’s Game and she wore a pants look that aged her a lot. She has been having a lot of fun with fashion so far this year so I am really excited to see what she will bring to the event this year. I went for flirty and shining with this Sara Battaglia Resort 2019 ensemble which features an off white chiffon blouson sleeve button down shirt and a gold fish scale sequin paillette mini skirt. It is also one of the more extra looks that I’ve picked for a Comic-Con panel. I really think that only a few people could really sell this look to me during Comic-Con, and Hailee is definitely one of them. Since this event is usually very laid back I decided to mimic the lookbook styling picking a pair of gold glitter Valentino ‘Flycrew’ sneakers to compliment this look perfectly. Sleek center parted locks, simple defined eyes, and rose pink lips all would add the perfect finishing touches to this look.I haven’t heard if Jessica Jones will have a panel at Comic-Con this year or not, but since Krysten Ritter is one of my favorite underrated style stars I am hoping there is and that she delivers a really chic fashion moment. I would love to see Krysten rock the red carpet at Comic-Con giving us chic and sexy wearing this red Cushnie et Ochs Resort 2019 draped off the shoulder dress which features a single sleeve, faux wrap skirt, midi length, and a layered lace detail at the neckline. It is definitely again something a little more extra for this event, but I think it will be the perfect look for Krysten to rock. Style it with sexy curls, defined eyes, matching red lips, and a pair of red Casadei micro-pleated knotted sandals and this will be an incredibly chic moment for Krysten. Rounding out today’s Comic-Con wishes is the always gorgeous Sarah Paulson who topped my Best Dressed of June 2018 list with the florescent green Prada gown she wore for the Ocean’s 8 premiere in NYC. I hope that she keeps up the major mojo that she had during that promo tour when she steps out for the panel for M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass. I went for elevated casual style picking this indigo blue, green, and white mixed plaid Prabal Gurung Resort 2019 asymmetric cutout dress which features button details, a fit and flare silhouette, a midi hemline, and side slit for Sarah to rock for this event. This dress is the perfect casual look for Sarah to bring to event. She can button up the cutout to make it more of a causal look than a dinner moment and I think that if she did just that and paired the dress with a sleek bob, simple makeup, green tourmaline Irene Neuwirth drop earrings, and a pair of navy Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ mule sandals that she would keep that mojo going in the perfect manner.

The 2018 San Diego Comic-Con will take place from July 19 to 22, 2018.
