2018 MTV Movie & Television Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 5

The 2018 MTV Movie & Television Awards are TOMORROW! I am really excited to see what all of the stars who are nominated and presenting are going to wear on the red carpet. And of course I cannot wait to see what Tiffany Haddish will bring as this years hostess. I was looking forward to seeing Millie Bobby Brown as she is one of my favorite young ladies to see on the red carpet, but she recently split her kneecap so she has announced that she will not be in attendance. I am hoping that everyone who will be on the red carpet tomorrow will be on top of their game. GLOW star Alison Brie is going to be one of the many presenters this year and I I feel like a really major moment is on the horizon for her. I went to a very 80’s inspired moment picking this watermelon pink leopard Tom Ford Fall 2018 RTW beaded tuxedo for her to rock on this red carpet. The MTV Awards red carpet is usually a funner and edgier red carpet and this is exactly what I want to see Alison bring to this red carpet and that is exactly what we would get with this suit. Add a sleek low bun, defined eyes, nude lips, a pair of black patent Schutz crossover sandals, and ruby Anita Ko ‘Floating’ earrings to add a really chic modern twist to this totally 80’s moment for Alison to rock on this red carpet. I have heard that the cast of Black Panther will be in attendance tomorrow night, but I don’t know who from the cast will actually be there. I’m hoping everyone because they all bring the fashion factor to the red carpet. Danai Gurira has had a stellar year fashion wise so far and I feel like if she is on the red carpet at the 2018 MTV Movie & Television Awards would love to see her go a little more glam than one might expect to see on this red carpet. I definitely think that Danai would look absolutely beautiful wearing this red origami draped Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2018 strapless midi cocktail dress which features peplum hips and a belted waist. I do get distinct Vivienne Westwood vibes from this dress and that might make stars hesitant to wear this specific Michael Kors design, but I definitely think that Danai would add the elegance and grace to this look to make it a really chic moment on this red carpet. Her short shaved hair, glitter lined eyes, bold red lips, a red crystal embellished Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch, and a pair of red Jimmy Choo ‘Misty’ sandals would take that elegance and punctuate it perfectly. Mandy Moore is another who almost always rocks the red carpet when she step out on the red carpet. She has this classic and glamorous style that has really made for chic moments on the red carpet. I would love to see Mandy, who is presenting tomorrow, step out giving sporty elegance with this red Monse Resort 2019 patchwork tank dress which  features an A-line silhouette, a layered illusion neckline, and an handkerchief hemline. This is a really elegant yet fun and flirty moment and I definitely think that Mandy would be able to really sell this dress to me especially if she pairs it with glamorous waves, defined eyes, nude lips, a red Elie Saab metallic clutch, and a pair of black satin Christian Louboutin ‘Pensamoi’ red flower embellished sandals. Like Alison I wanted to give Olivia Munn a really modern 80’s moment for the 2018 MTV Movie Awards red carpet. Olivia is one that I go back and forth with my love for. She can blow me away. She can make me cringe. She can make me indifferent. I want to see her take a risk and blow me away on tomorrow nights red carpet. I think that is exactly what would happen if she stepped onto this red carpet wearing this multicolored Balmain Fall 2018 RTW silk mini dress which features an asymmetrical neckline, distinct color blocking, long sleeves, strong shoulders, defined waist, asymmetric pleated detailing, and a mini length hem. The dress is honestly a statement all on its own so I wouldn’t over style it and let the dress be the statement. I feel like a pair of black Marc Ellis tie fastened cage sandals, defined eyes, soft pink lips, and full voluminous curls would all add the perfect finishing touches to this ensemble. And last but certainly not least is Black-ish and Young-ish star Yara Shahidi. She is another of the superstar presenters tomorrow night and I am really excited to see what she will wear. I feel like Yara more often than not knocks it out of the park with her fashion choices and knows how to chic chic youthful flirty moments on the red carpet and that is exactly what we want to see on the red carpet at the MTV Movie & Television Awards. As soon as I saw that Yara was going to be presenting tomorrow night I knew I wanted to put her in Moschino. I went through so many dresses from the brands Resort 2019 and Fall 2018 RTW collections to find the perfect option. I ultimately decided subtlety (at least by Moschino standards) over extravagance was the right way to go for Yara on this red carpet. I would love to see Yara bring this multicolored harlequin print pleated lamé slip dress from the Moschino Resort 2019 collection which features intricately draped pleating, a v-neck, spaghetti straps, and a just above the knee length. It is fun and flirty and to me just what we would expect to see on this red carpet. The dress itself is such a statement I think that a pulled back afro hairstyle, defined eyes, nude glossy lips, a pair of purple satin Gianvito Rossi ‘Portofino’ sandals, and Goshwara cushion cut amethyst and pave set diamond drop earrings would really ensure that Yara has a really perfect moment from head to toe.

The 2018 MTV Movie & Television Awards will take place tomorrow on Monday June 18, 2018.
