2018 MTV Movie & Television Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 4

We are getting really close to the 2018 MTV Movie & Television Awards and I am really excited to see what stars will bring to this red carpet. We don’t usually see Best Dressed of the Year worthy moments on this red carpet, but with the crop of stars who are nominated and presenting at this years awards show gives us stars who have serious potential to really wow me I am laying hopeful that we have some really major moments on the red carpet. Daisy Ridley is nominated for Best Performance in a Movie and Best Hero for her role as Rey in the Star Wars saga. I have to say that if she wasn’t going up against the likes of the Black Panther stars and Wonder Woman Gal Gadot that she would easily take this award home, but unfortunately I don’t see Daisy taking home any golden popcorn awards on Monday. It makes me wonder if Daisy will even make the trip to Santa Monica for this years awards, but if she did I went with a fun, flirty, and visual moment with this blue cruise liner print Chanel Cruise 2019 cap sleeve, tiered ruffled mini dress. This is a fun dress and I definitely think it would make for the perfect easy glam moment for Daisy to rock on this red carpet. I think that with her red hair in a sleek low bun, defined eyes, pink lips, and a pair of blue satin Gianvito Rossi ‘Rae’ bow embellished sandals that this would be a perfect moment for Daisy to rock on this red carpet. Kristen Bell will be one of my many presenters who take to the red carpet at the MTV Movie & Television Awards red carpet on Monday night. She has long been one of the stars who I go very back and forth with in regards to their style. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I don’t, and I am hoping that when she steps out on Monday night that she is firmly rocking something that I love. I feel that this burnt orange and fold velvet brocade Alice + Olivia Fall 2018 RTW one shoulder midi dress which features an a-line skirt would be a perfect option for her to wear on the red carpet. I’m not sure if the black leather straps are attached to the dress or not. If they are I would have them snipped right off. They don’t fit with Kristen’s style and I feel like cutting it off would make this a classically elegant moment for Kristen to rock on this red carpet. The perfect styling for this look would include a brown velvet Tyler Ellis ‘Perry’ faceted clutch, a sleek wavy updo, smokey eyes, rose pink lips, brown glitter Jimmy Choo ‘Lucy’ pumps, and a pair of orange faceted fire opal Irene Neuwirth drop earrings. One of this years breakout stars has been Black Panther star Letitia Wright and it would honestly surprise me if she isn’t on this red carpet on Monday night. She was able to hold her own against style stars like Lupita & Danai Gurira during the Black Panther promo tour and Elizabeth Olsen & Zoe Saldana during the Avengers: Infinity War infinity war tour. She’s been rocking designers like Coach, Prada, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton since the Black Panther promo tour kicked off back in February. I would love to see her add another designer to her fashionable belt rocking this gunmetal grey Michael Kors Resort 2019 a-line shift dress which features an embroidered silk brocade construction and a high jeweled collar neckline. This evokes that warrior spirit that we loved from Black Panther and I feel like this would be a really strong look for Letitia to wear fro the MTV Movie & Television Awards red carpet, especially if she pairs it with defined eyes, nude lips, a sleek asymmetrical bob, & a pair of grey cheetah print Chloe Gosselin ‘Narcissus’ sandals. We don’t see a whole lot of Mila Kunis on the red carpet, but she will be one of the many presenters who take to the red carpet and stage at Monday’s MTV Movie & Television Awards. The actress has a very sexy sense of style, but we rarely see her out of black. In fact I kept her in black and then turned to the same designer who dressed her for her last red carpet appearance at the Billboard Music Awards. I feel like Mila would be easily drawn to this sexy yet utilitarian David Koma Fall 2018 RTW black velvet a-line cocktail dress which features a straight off-the-shoulder neckline, long sleeves, corseted bodice, button details, and back pleats and I definitely think that it would be a perfect look for her to rock on this red carpet. I feel like with loose waves, defined eyes, red lips, and a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Crossfliketa’ strappy pumps would all really make this the perfect sultry moment for Mila to rock on this red carpet. Since the Oscars we have not seen Timothee Chalamet out on a red carpet. I am kinda surprised that Call Me By Your Name got any MTV Movie & Television Award nominations, but it makes me very happy that he did. While the category of Best Performance in a Movie trophy will most likely go to Chadwick Boseman (or Daisy Ridley,) but I would really love to see Timothee step out on this red carpet. He has a friendship with Haider Ackermann and wore several looks of the designers creations for Berluti during awards season. Haider has since exited Berluti, but I decided to pick a look from the brand for Timothee to rock on this red carpet. I feel like this Berluti Spring 2018 Menswear ensemble which features a black leather jacket with a mustard lining, a t-shirt that matches that mustard lining, and a pair of white cropped pants is a great casual look and I definitely think that Timothee would really make this look work with effortless ease. Just adding his signature loose curls and a pair of black Thom Browne classic long wingtip brogues and Timothee will really make this a chic moment for this red carpet.

The 2018 MTV Movie & Television Awards will take place on Monday June 18, 2018.
