2017 End of the Year Style Awards: Red Carpet Diva of the Year

I added a new face to the ranks of my previous Red Carpet Divas this year. In the 7 years that I have been handing out these awards I have given this specific award to only three different women. Diane Kruger, Cate Blanchett, and Julianne Moore. These ladies are among some of my favorite stars to see on the red carpet, and I am adding another to that small rank of ladies this year.At the start of the year I was thinking that Nicole Kidman was on track to be my Most Disappointing this year, and then something changed and she upped her game and ended up wowing me in one gorgeous creation after another. I was praying for major moment from her this year and she definitely delivered. I have already celebrated her couture savvy, but she delivered so much more than that this year. From McQueen, Calvin Klein, Prada, Bottega Veneta, Erdem, Alessandra Rich, Off-White, Gucci, Proenza Schouler and more Nicole gave a variety of different styles throughout the year. She has really made some bold and unexpected choices with her style this year. I featured her in many wish lists this year and I got two gowns right I picked her Armani Prive Oscars gown and I had picked the Michael Kors gown that she wore for the Cannes premiere of The Beguiled and I did a happy dance each time. She was gorgeous the whole year long and I am expecting that with a win at the Golden Globe Awards and the SAG Awards for Big Little Lies imminent I am expecting even more glamorous looks from her to kick off 2018.Nicole had so many major looks on the red carpet this year that it would be a hard choice to pick my favorite. I definitely have several of these moment in contention for Best Dressed of the Year. Will any of them make the final cut for my 10 favorite looks of the year? Just 3 more days until the list goes live, keep checking back to see who wins awards and who will make the best dressed list.
