2017 End of the Year Style Awards: Entertainer of the Year

I decided at the eleventh hour to change who was going to be my Entertainer of the Year this year. I had put Lorde up for this award, but at the last minute seeing a bunch of the looks that Celine Dion has worn this year I decided that she had definitely earned this award. Lorde had a great year but styles were kinda limited and so was color. Celine wore a whole variation of styles during her concerts and performances this year in a wide range of avant garde  designs. I have always loved Celine and her style, but this year she has just earned her fashionista stripes really taking all kinds of risks. Celine has rocked looks from Osman, Atelier Versace, Julien Macdonald, Nicolas Jebran, Alexander McQueen, Zuhair Murad, and Maison Margiela while she performed at different events, her Celine Dion Live tour in Europe, and her residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. I have already given her the Best Stage Costume award for the stunning Stephane Rolland Couture gown that she wore during her Billboard Music Awards performance. I think that Celine has just upped her style game with the help of stylist Law Roach and has really started taking risks instead of just wearing gorgeous looks. There are very few of the looks that Celine has worn this year that I would have ever looked at on the runway and put on a wish list for her. Now she has shown me that she really can hang with the fashion icon crown and not just the musical icon crowd. One really wow piece that Celine wore was a custom Zac Posen gown that was infused with fiber optics to literally shine, a la Claire Danes at the Met Gala last year (you can see that below.) I have really been blown away be Celine and her style this year and I am really excited to see what she has in store for us next year. Will her song “How Does A Moment Last Forever” be nominated for an Oscar? If so what gorgeous, no doubt couture, gown will she wear to perform it?
