I am not sure of the actual date that this years Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will take place, but I am sure that the show will still have a stellar turnout for it’s standard after party. The models that grace the catwalk swap their embellished wings for cocktail dresses and gowns and are usually joined by VIP’s and musical performers that attend the show. So to put together my wishes for the red carpet at this years Victoria’s Secret party I went to the amazing cast of models that will be walking the runway. Candice Swanepoel is one of the beloved Victoria’s Secret Angels alongside the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima and of all of them I think that she is most likely to deliver an elegant yet sexy moment on the red carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show after party. I think that this white Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2018 RTW ruffled mini dress which features a v-neckline, cold shoulder detail, and long sleeves is kinda the look that is pretty standard that a Victoria’s Secret model, but I think that on Candice that it would be a very chic moment for this red carpet. I think that this dress paired with a sleek updo, smokey eye, glossy nude lip, and a pair of shocking pink Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pumps that Candice will ensure that she has fun, sexy elegance on the Victoria’s Secret red carpet. With this years show taking place in Shanghai, China there is a an incredible cast of Chinese models who will walk the runway at this years show. Liu Wen is one of those models and I love seeing her on the red carpet so I am praying that following her appearance on the runway that she will make a major moment on the red carpet at the after party. Liu was the first Asian model to walk the runway for Victoria’s Secret and I am sure that with this show being in China that this one will mean a lot to her. Liu has traditionally worn a short cocktail dress on this red carpet, but I went to sleek glamour with this ice blue Alberta Ferretti Spring 2018 RTW silk lamé strapless gown which features a lustrous design in a slim draped bodice. This isn’t the most obvious choice for me to make for a Victoria’s Secret red carpet, but in China the glamour is always elevated and I think that Liu would be the perfect person to bring that. Styling this look with a silver Judith Leiber Couture ‘New Goddess’ crystal clutch, sleek hair tucked behind her ears, a rose pink lip, winged eyeliner, a pair of silver Jaggar ‘Lane’ metallic sandals, and a statement Chopard diamond collar necklace would all ensure that Liu has a major moment on the red carpet.Gigi Hadid has walked several red carpets this year, but there hasn’t been a single one of them that I have gotten excited about. She will walk her third consecutive runway for Victoria’s Secret this year and I am hoping that Gigi will give me a look to get excited about this year. Gigi’s previous red carpet appearances at the after parties have been really glam with a black House of CB bodysuit and Sally LaPointe maxi skirt and a custom silver Atelier Versace gown. For this years red carpet I went back at Atelier Versace but instead opting for short, edgy, sexy, and glam with this black and yellow Atelier Versace Spring 2016 Couture long sleeve mini dress. I have to say that this one of the dresses that I am still surprised hasn’t been snatched up and I think that it would be a great look for Gigi to wear on the Victoria’s Secret red carpet. Add a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Louise X’ sequined over the knee boots and a sleek ponytail and Gigi will have a major red carpet moment on her hands. Lily Aldridge is always one of the models to watch on the red carpet and I am really excited to see what will wear on the red carpet at the after party for the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She is one of the models who I think could bring Balmain to the red carpet given the fact that Balmain is collaborating with VS on the red carpet. I am hoping that this red carpet won’t be total Balmain-fest, but I am sure that there will still be several looks from the brand. I think that Lily would look so chic wearing this black, red, and silver Balmain Spring 2018 RTW short cocktail dress which features chain detail throughout the bodice and shoulder straps, braided construction, deconstructed hem, and a feather trim. The look is like an edgy take on the flapper look and I think that Lily would definitely I would ensure that this is given the red carpet moment it deserves. I would add a black Jimmy Choo trinket clutch, a red lip, winged eye, sleek hair tucked behind the ears, and a pair of black Jimmy Choo ‘Lancer’ suede caged pumps to help do just that. Yesterday I said that Alessandra Ambrosio would be voted Most Likely to Wear Balmain, and I still think that is incredibly likely, but I think that this could be a tie with Maria Borges. Maria has walked every Balmain show this year, was one of Olivier’s guests at the Cannes Film Festival debut of the Balmain x L’Oreal collaboration, and has attended all of the Balmain parties this year. A beaded, crystal embellished, or laser cut leather mini dress paired with thigh high boots is the standard for Balmain, but I want to see Maria give us glamour after walking the runway for Victoria’s Secret. This red Balmain gown which features a v-neck, spaghetti straps, a ruched detail, a fitted silhouette, a concealed zip fastening, and a side slit is elegant and glamorous and I think that Maria would do it such justice on the red carpet. I think that styling this look with a smokey eye, glossy nude lip, black Casadei foldover glittered clutch, and a pair of black Casadei ‘Blade’ sandals would just punctuate the glamour of this look. Finishing out my wishes for this years Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show red carpet is the gorgeous Stella Maxwell, who will be walking the runway for the fourth year in a row. Every year Stella has gotten a little more glamorous with her look for the shows after party and this year I went for what would be her most glamorous look yet. Raisa & Vanessa is a brand that I was introduced to earlier this year thanks to a gorgeous gown that Chrissy Teigan wore and the brand has had some other smaller moments on the red carpet this year. I think that Stella would embody the sexy glamour of this red carpet wearing this raspberry red Raisa & Vanessa Spring 2018 RTW one sleeved, asymmetrical gown which features 3D floral embellishment, a ring stomach cutout, and a draped skirt with a daring split. I wonder of we will see this brand on the VS red carpet this year since they have been called into question recently for copying Balmain designs, but I think that this dress isn’t a Balmain knockoff at all. Styling it with loose old Hollywood waves, a smokey eye, nude lip, and a pair of gold Sophia Webster ‘Lilico’ crystal embellished sandals all would ensure that Stella kills it on this red carpet.
