Murder on the Orient Express is one of the many blockbuster promo tours that are gearing up to kick off over the holiday season. I am really looking forward to all of these tours and I am thinking that this tour will deliver a whole lot of glamour. Just the air of the classic glamour of the Orient Express and the famed tale all are fuel that should lead to major glamour on the red carpet while the all star cast steps out on the red carpet to promote the film. Daisy Ridley, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Penelope Cruz, Judi Dench, Kenneth Branagh, Willem Dafoe, and Josh Gad make up the biggest names in the cast and if even just a few step out for each premiere I would say that we are in luck for a few major moments. The films premiere in London on November 2, 2017 is where I am expecting most of the glamour to be. Daisy Ridley burst onto the red carpet scene two years ago almost with a killer promo tour for Star Wars: The Force Awakens and has worn brands like Chanel Couture, Jason Wu, Lela Rose, Roland Mouret, Chloe, Mary Katrantzou, and Giambattista Valli Couture in the past two years. She really is one to watch, and I am really excited to see what her two major promo tours for Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Murder on the Orient Express are going to bring. For the London premiere of Murder on the Orient Express I want to see Daisy give us a new designer and modern glamour on the red carpet wearing this black and silver Oscar de la Renta Resort 2018 gown which features an allover sequin bodice, a cascading leaf design, and a full length column skirt. I was actually pulling looks for Daisy to wear during the Star Wars press tour when I fell in love with the idea of her wearing this gown and I think that this would be the perfect red carpet for her to wear it. While the sequins scream space age modernity the gown itself is very classic glamour so I think it makes for the perfect modern glam moment for Daisy. Finishing this look with a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti for Jennifer Lopez ‘Coline’ suede and crystal sandals, chic waves, red lip, and Chanel Haute Joaillerie including diamond and onyx drop earrings and a diamond cuff would ensure that Daisy makes this a truly major red carpet moment.Michelle Pfeiffer knows how to give sexy, glamorous red carpet moments that come across as elegant instead of trying to hard. It is a hard balance to make when you’re 59 years old. Michelle does it with such ease and sophistication every single time she steps out on the red carpet. I think that for the London premiere of Murder on the Orient Express I would love to see Michelle go for bold shape with this black Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2018 RTW long sleeve pencil dress which features a dramatic ruffled off the shoulder neckline that continues down one sleeve. The dress might be an LBD, but thanks to that dramatic ruffle it is anything but basic. I think that is the key to Michelle’s dressing on the red carpet. She doesn’t wear a whole lot of loud colors or prints, but usually picks much more elevated basics which end up translating to major moments. This would be another if Michelle decided to pick this dress for this premiere. I would add some more elevated basics via some Jimmy Choo accessories including a ‘Bow’ crystal bar satin clutch and ‘Bridget’ leopard devore velvet pumps to add some more subtle sophistication to this look. With a loose updo, kohl rimmed eyes, red lip, and statement jewels from David Morris including a pair of diamond and emerald chandelier earrings and a statement diamond and emerald bangle would ensure that Michelle just oozes sensual glamour on the red carpet at this premiere. For this big gala premiere I would love to see Penelope Cruz bring the couture factor to the red carpet. I would probably bet that Penelope will wear custom Atelier Versace, but I decided to go to another of Penelope’s preferred red carpet brands Elie Saab. I think that if Penelope stepped on to the red carpet at this premiere wearing this grey-ish blue Elie Saab Fall 2017 Couture a-line ball gown which features gold beaded embroidery, a feathered skirt, velvet belted waist, and a plunging neckline that she could potentially throw in a late contender for Best Dressed of the Year. I have been waiting to see this gown on a red carpet, and since it missed being pulled for the fall film festivals I would say that it is a major blockbuster premiere or that it will be saved for awards season pulls. I would think that the traditional large platform that a London premiere usually has would ensure that this gown has the grand stage that it deserves and Penelope would definitely be one of the few who would be able to wear this gown and just ooze glamour. A sleek updo, smokey eye, rose pink lip, gold Aquazzura ‘Eden’ crystal fringe sandals, and a pair of gorgeous yellow diamond Chopard chandelier earrings would all make this look perfection.
