“Geostorm” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

The Geostorm premier in LA will take place on Monday and I am really interested to see what the red carpet will bring. The film is definitely not a major blockbuster but isn’t one of the movies that will be considered during awards season. Picking looks for this red carpet ended up a challenge for me because my head space has been on big blockbuster movie tours like Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League and on film festivals and gearing up for awards season. I think that this kind of red carpet will bring some pretty looks but nothing that will end up on a best dressed of October list. Abbie Cornish has been absent from all of the premieres that I was expecting her to be on this fall and I am wondering if she will even step out Monday to support Geostorm. I think that if she does that going for classic glamour would be the right choice, that’s why I picked this black and white ombre Marchesa Spring 2018 RTW gown rendered in silk and features a strapless sweetheart neckline, 3D flower embellishment, and tea length hem. This is a very chic, classically elegant dress and I think that for a return to the red carpet that this would be a very beautiful choice for Abbie to wear. I think that if she wore her hair in a sleek low bun, winged eyeliner, red lip, and a pair of black Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudistpearls’ sandals that Abbie will definitely have a beautiful moment on this red carpet.Zazie Beetz has been making some splash on the red carpet give edge and dramatic glamour on the red carpets at the NAACP Image Awards wearing Narciso Rodriguez and Rosie Assoulin for the Emmy Awards. Zazie is a star of the series Atlanta that has become critically acclaimed winning several Emmy’s and is expected to do well during awards season as well. I have a feeling that she will deliver something edgy and fun if she steps out on the red carpet to promote Geostorm on Monday. It was an easy choice for me to go for this black Coach 1941 Resort 2018 ensemble which meshed biker and ballerina in a chic way that comes across as wearable instead of costume-y. I think that Zazie has the edge and sass to make this look really come to life on the red carpet. I would add a black Coach 3D floral embossed foldover clutch, a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Bimba’ lace up booties, full afro, smokey eye, & an orange lip to make this look perfection.
