“Thor: Ragnarok” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

There are quite a few big superhero films that have promo tours coming up this fall. The first big one is for Thor: Ragnarok and I have been waiting for this one for quite some time. The promo tour for Thor: The Dark World was one of my favorites that I can remember. I was taken with all of the beautiful Dior looks that Natalie Portman delivered as she toured the world promoting the film. She is not in this film, but there are so many great moments that could happen with the amazing cast that is in Thor: Ragnarok. When Cate Blanchett was announced as a cast member of Thor: Ragnarok all of my sadness that Natalie wasn’t going to be in this film melted away. After she went through the awards season run for Carol last year Cate was said to be taking time off from Hollywood, but her big promo tours are just gearing up. I think we will have a lot of really major moments coming to us in the future. I am really excited to see what she is going to wear while promoting Thor: Ragnarok. At the films LA premiere I would love for Cate to bring the edge to the red carpet wearing this amazing Maison Margiela Fall 2017 Couture gown. Cate has been one of the few who has worn Maison Margiela by John Galliano on the red carpet and was the only person I saw wearing this gown when it came down the runway in July and I have been holding it for the Thor tour wishes. I think that the tribal edge of this gown would fit right into the vibes of this tour. I think a loose wavy bob, smokey eye, bold red lip, and a pair of black Gianvito Rossi ‘Opera’ ankle wrap sandals would compliment this look perfectly, making it a total contender for Best Dressed of the Year.Jaimie Alexander made waves when her NBC show Blindspot premiered wearing a custom Armani Prive gown to the Emmy Awards that year. I was really excited to get to know her as a leading lady on the red carpet, but I have been really underwhelmed. I think that when she steps out to help promote Thor: Ragnarok that she will dress more as a supporting actress than a star in her own right. I think that she would definitely be absolutely beautiful wearing this dark emerald green Azzaro Fall 2017 Couture silk draped halter gown which features an embellished neckline. I had a hard time trying to figure out what to pick for Jaimie, but when I saw this gown it immediately spoke to me. Accessorized with an emerald Judith Leiber coffered crocodile minaudiere, sleek updo, smokey eye, nude lip, diamond earcuffs, and a pair of black Schutz ‘Cadey Lee’ sandals I think that Jaimie would look incredibly chic on this red carpet.Unlike Jaimie the rise to fashion stardom that Tessa Thompson has gone through has been glorious. I am really excited to see what she will bring to the red carpet over the promo tour for Thor: Ragnarok. Tessa has caught the eye of several top brands as well as several of the ultimate cool girl brands. She loves to take risks, and she love color on the red carpet. For the film’s premiere in London I went to high glamour and bold color with this yellow Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2018 RTW crystal encrusted balloon sleeve cocktail dress. I wondered if a cocktail dress would be the right choice for Tessa to wear for a major premiere for a blockbuster film. I think she could, but I also think that turning this into a full length gown with a dramatic train would also make for a red carpet moment that could rival Cate in Margiela. I think that a sleek bun, smokey eye, punchy pink lip, and a pair of yellow Givenchy classic pearlescent suede sandals would add the perfect finishing touches to this amazing red carpet moment.
