We are now officially past my wishes for the nominees at the 2017 Emmy Awards which means that the show is drawing ever closer. We are just five days out from this years red carpet and like I have been saying since the start of my wishes I have a feeling that this year is going to be the best Emmy’s red carpet ever. Before I delve into my wishes for the presenters I have a bunch of wishes for the ladies who star alongside the nominated actresses in the shows nominated for the top prizes at the Emmy Awards.Angela Sarafayn is a supporting star in Westworld and I have really started to enjoy her style this year. She has been a breakout star and I am really excited to see what she is going to wear on the red carpet at the Emmy’s this year. This white Ashi Studio Fall 2017 RTW off the shoulder gown which a sweetheart neckline, flutter sleeves, a peplum, and a pleated chiffon skirt screams Angela’s soft and feminine style while also being structured and glamorous. I think that this would definitely be right up Angela’s ally and I think of anyone I can think of that she would be the perfect person to bring it to life on the red carpet. This gown is a great canvas to add some killer styling. Pops of color via a Judith Leiber ‘Lily & Dragonfly’ crystal minaudiere, a red lip, and statement stone drop earrings and elegant touches like a romantic updo, kohl rimmed eyes, and a pair of silver crystal embellished Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Coline’ sandals would make this the perfect look for a guest attending the Emmy’s.I was SHOCKED that This Is Us star Mandy Moore was snubbed for a Best Actress in a Drama Series nomination and I hope that doesn’t turn her off from attending as a guest to support the show as it is nomination for Best Drama Series. Mandy has become an unexpected style star being on all kinds of red carpets wearing all of the best designers and really making me take notice of her again. For the Emmy Awards I went with this fuchsia Marchesa Resort 2018 gown which features an embroidered bustier, an asymmetrical ruffle skirt, and velvet ribbon strap detail for Mandy because of how chic, elegant, statement making, and fun to wear on the red carpet. A year ago I would have never put Mandy and this gown in the same thought, but now I can really picture her shutting the red carpet down in this creation. I would let the gown be the focus of this look adding a sleek ponytail, kohl rimmed eyes, diamond cluster earrings, a fuchsia lip, and a pair of nude satin Paul Andrew ‘Kalida’ sandals to complete it.I would bet that Tessa Thompson will be on the Emmy Awards red carpet on Sunday with her role in the nominated Westworld and a staring role in the upcoming second season of The Girlfriend Experience. Tessa has been one that I have really started to get excited about seeing on the red carpet wearing couture from Zuhair Murad and coveted gowns by Marc Jacobs in the past her style star continues to rise as rapidly as she is being embraced by Hollywood. For the Emmy’s I want to see Tessa bring bold color with this teal Carolina Herrera Fall 2017 RTW gown which features a plunging v-neckline, a sleeveless silhouette, lace detail, a velvet waistband, and a pleated full length skirt. Last night Carolina presented her Spring 2018 collection and I feel like the Emmy’s are the last chance I have to see this gown on a red carpet. I think that the teal color would pop against Tessa’s skin and just make for an absolutely major moment on the red carpet. With a teal smokey eye, nude lip, old Hollywood waves, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of black Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Mistico’ crystal embellished ankle wrap sandals this look would be perfection.Yvonne Strahovski was amazing in The Handmaid’s Tale and I think that if the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series hadn’t been so tough this year that she could have seen herself nominated for an Emmy herself. I would love to see Yvonne deliver something chic and elegant on the Emmy red carpet Sunday night which is why I chose this nude J. Mendel Fall 2017 RTW column gown which features a plunging neckline, tiered pleating, and silver sequin embroidered detail. I think that for a guest and cast member of a Best Drama Series nominated show that this would be a perfect look for Yvonne to wear on the Emmy red carpet. The gown screams old Hollywood glamour and that is how I would style it. A pair of nude Schutz ‘Larazee’ crystal embellished sandals, old Hollywood waves, a kohl rimmed eye, diamond chandelier earrings, and a glossy nude lip would ensure that Yvonne would make this look all glamour.
