Much like the ladies nominated for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie the women nominated in the supporting category all are ones to watch on the red carpet next Sunday. I have a feeling that with how great the red carpets and runways have been recently I am expecting the red carpet at the Emmy’s to be really good. I think some of the best looks will come courtesy of the ladies nominated for Limited Series and Movies. Laura Dern is nominated for Big Little Lies and is one that I am really excited to see on the red carpet next Sunday night at the Emmy’s. Laura has really become a fashion darling this year and she has worn some really major moments and I have a feeling that the Emmy’s will be one of her best looks yet. I was watching the Valentino Fall 2017 Couture show back in July before the Emmy nominations looking for gowns for some of the big stars who could have been nominated to wear for this years Emmy’s. When I saw this black and white Valentino Fall 2017 Couture long sleeve gown which reminds me of medieval couture I thought of Laura and when it was announced that she was nominated I immediately ran to this gown as my wish for her. I think that the simplistic nature of this gown really would speak to Laura’s chic and elegant style while still maintaining this movie star elegance on a television red carpet. I added a statement Rafe ‘Mariposa’ butterfly shell minaudiere, sleek bun, kohl rimmed eyes, red lips, gold set diamond tassel earrings, and a pair of simple black Schutz ‘Cadey Lee’ sandals to really make this look perfection. Michelle Pheiffer has been sizzling on the red carpet and I am really excited to see what she will wear for the Emmy Awards where she has earned her nomination for playing Ruth Madoff in the HBO movie The Wizard of Lies. Her custom Michael Kors gown at the Mother! premiere in Venice really took me by surprise it was sleek and sexy with a dose of high glamour. For the Emmy’s I turned to this black polka dotted Altuzarra Resort 2018 gown which features 3/4 length sleeves, and asymmetric neckline, and a daring side split. This gown is strong and feminine and I think that Michelle would ooze powerful glamour wearing this creation on a red carpet. I do think that the gown should be belted to define Michelle’s waist, but I would swap the lookbooks extremely wide buckle belt with a something a bit smaller yet still defining black belt. Adding a gold studded black Salvatore Ferragamo ‘Gancio’ clasp clutch, loose waves, kohl rimmed eyes, pink glossy lip, and a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Hot Jeanbi’ lace pumps would ensure Michelle oozes strong, sensual glamour on the Emmy Awards red carpet. Regina King isn’t usually one that I get excited about on the red carpet. Sometimes it seems like she is going too frothy others too edgy and other times to sexy. I hope that when she steps onto the Emmy Awards red carpet moment next Sunday that we see her in an absolutely beautiful moment on the red carpet. I had a hard time picking a gown for Regina to wear because she tends to wear a lot of lesser known Lebanese designers for the red carpet, but I went to one of my favorite Lebanese designers for her 2017 Emmy’s gown. Georges Hobeika is an amazing designer and is very underrated in my opinion. I think that this navy Georges Hobeika Resort 2018 mermaid gown with an off the shoulder portrait neckline, silver palm frond beaded embroidery, and a decent train would be a perfect moment to really let Regina bring full glamour to the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. I think the silhouette would hug and flatter all of her curves really making a beautiful moment that could land her on a best dressed list. I would just add old Hollywood waves, a silvery kohl rimmed eye, red lip, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of blue Schutz ‘Hara’ crystal heel sandals to really make sure this look is nothing but glamour. Shailene Woodley can either make me really excited or really bored when she steps onto the red carpet. It all depends on how much effort she decides to put into her red carpet moment. I am hoping that Shailene will deliver something glamorous and modern when she steps onto the Emmy Awards red carpet where she is nominated for her role in Big Little Lies. I have high expectations for all of the stars of this show and I know that they have the potential to really wow me. When I think back to my favorite looks from Shailene on the red carpet they have been courtesy of Elie Saab so I turned to the designer for her Emmy gown. This pacific blue Elie Saab Resort 2018 beaded gown features a jewel neckline, a backless construction, and a full length trumpet skirt screams Shai’s style and I think that it is perfect for the Emmy Awards red carpet. I went really sleek with the styling including a sleek bun, smokey eye, red lip, diamond cluster earrings, and a pair of navy velvet Tony Bianco ‘Karvan’ sandals to make this Shailene’s best red carpet moment yet.
