2017 Emmy Awards: Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series Nominee Red Carpet Wish List

The actresses nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series are a group that has had some beautiful red carpet moments in the past, but also are some of the ones that I worry about most. When it comes down to it these ladies could end up the best or worst dressed list, with very little in between. Anna Chlumsky helped announce the nominees for this years Emmy Awards and earned herself a nomination for her role in VEEP. I would love to see Anna give elegant glamour on the Emmy red carpet. I think that this white Bibhu Mohapatra Resort 2018 strapless gown which features honeycomb pattern sequin embroidery, a column silhouette, and a ribbon tied waist would be a perfect look to have Anna really deliver a very chic moment on the red carpet. I don’t expect a major couture look from her, but I do expect something very beautiful, chic, and elegant. Styling this look with a black glitter Jimmy Choo ‘Trinket’ clutch, old Hollywood waves, a red lip, smokey eye, and a pair of black Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudistsong’ sandals would definitely round out this look to perfection. Judith Light, nominated for Transparent, almost always rocks a red carpet wearing Zac Posen. I would expect that when she steps onto the Emmy Awards red carpet next Sunday that she keeps to that tradition yet again. I think that Judith would definitely be drawn to this black Zac Posen Fall 2017 RTW off the shoulder column gown which features a shawl like neckline. The gown is elegant and totally appropriate for Judith to wear on the Emmy’s red carpet. A sleek updo, smokey eye, diamond cluster earrings, and a pair of black and blue Rene Caovilla crystal embellished pumps would finish this look perfectly.Kate McKinnon has continued to rise as a fashion star after winning her Emmy Award last year. She could take home another this year with all the gold that S.N.L. has brought since Donald Trump was elected. I would love to see Kate really bring high glamour to the Emmy Awards red carpet. She could be one of the few who get to wear couture on the Emmy Awards red carpet. I would love to see her shut the red carpet down wearing this fully embellished smokey lavender Atelier Versace Spring 2017 Couture sleeveless mermaid gown. This gown is absolutely amazing and I think that Kate would definitely shut the red carpet down wearing this gown. I would give Kate a pair of grey Casadei sandals and diamond cluster earrings to add to a sleek updo, lined eye, and a nude lip to make this look perfection. Kathryn Hahn oozes this kinda bad ass sex appeal and I am really excited to see what she will wear on the Emmy Awards red carpet next Sunday. I thought that going the route of this sexy, yet very glam, red Alex Perry strapless draped gown screams Kathryn’s style and I think that for the Emmy Awards that it would be a perfect look. I would love to see Kathryn go really sexy with the styling adding a messy bun, smokey eye, red lip, diamond cluster earrings, a red Judith Leiber faceted clutch, and a pair of red glitter Alexandre Birman bow-detail sandals to really make this look just ooze glamorous sex appeal.Leslie Jones is the reason that I didn’t get this post up yesterday. I looked at the New York Fashion Week schedule and saw that Christian Siriano was showing yesterday and I figured I would wait to see if there would be a great gown for Leslie to wear next Sunday for the Emmy Awards. I was not surprised to see her front row at Christian’s Spring 2018 RTW show undoubtedly looking for an Emmy gown. I would love to see Leslie show up next weekend wearing this fuchsia Christian Siriano Spring 2018 RTW sleeveless column gown. This gown is simple yet statement making and I think that Leslie would ensure that it is given due justice and the Emmy’s is a perfect platform for her to wear it on the red carpet. Just a simple pair of gold Jeffery Campbell ‘Obus’ sandals, sleek hairstyle, smokey eye, and matching fuchsia lips would be the way that I would style this look to ensure Leslie is on the Best Dressed list.
