Including this post I only have three more wishes for the red carpets at this years Toronto International Film Festival. So far, for the most part, stars have been killing it on the red carpets in Venice, and I am hoping that will continue through all of the premieres at TIFF. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is premiering in Venice and then heading over to Toronto International Film Festival before being sent off to the London Film Festival where it is a will be a spotlight gala. At TIFF the film will be screened as a special presentation and I am hoping the cast will deliver great looks from the beginning of the promo tour to it’s conclusion. Abbie Cornish has the potential to be one of the best dressed stars on the red carpet, and I am hoping with awards buzz circling around this film that she will be on top form. When it comes to her TIFF red carpet moment I would love to see Abbie show up wearing this navy blue Versace Fall 2017 RTW cocktail dress which features a gathered front and knotted one shoulder neckline. This dress could be good as either a cocktail dress or modified into a gown with a sweeping train for a TIFF premiere. I would add a romantic updo, navy Mansur Gavriel ‘Mini Volume’ silk clutch, diamond drop earrings, red lip, winged eye liner, and a pair of gold Giuseppe Zanotti three-strap sandals to really make this a beautiful red carpet moment. Kathryn Newton has become one to watch on the red carpets and I am really interested in seeing what she will bring if she joins Abbie on the red carpets at the international film festivals promoting Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. I think that for TIFF I would love to see Kathryn step out on the red carpet wearing this black and white Marchesa Notte Resort 2018 3-D floral embroidered lace gown which features a plunging neckline and a tiered, a-line skirt. Everything about this dress screams glamour and I think that for her first TIFF appearance that Kathryn would absolutely deliver a gorgeous moment on the red carpet. I think that if Kathryn stuck with the whole idea of glamour that with a loose updo, bright pink lips, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of simple black Schutz ‘Cadey Lee’ sandals that she just might take home my my Best Newcomer Award at the end of the year. This post is definitely the holdovers from other film festivals. Annette Bening is currently serving as the jury president in Venice and after her run she will jet over to Toronto International Film Festival to promote her latest feature Film Stars Don’t Die in Liverpool. For the Venice opening Annette wore a simple, but pretty Giorgio Armani gown. Her style doesn’t call for dramatic gowns and I don’t think that anything she wears at Venice or TIFF will be very dramatic. I do think that this maroon satin Escada Spring 2018 RTW suit with a crystal trimmed blazer paired with a white draped chiffon shirt is right up Annette’s ally and I think that for TIFF that this look is perfect for her to rock on the red carpet especially when paired with a simple pair of black Manolo Blahnik ‘Lisy’ crepe d’orsay satin pumps.I am really excited to see what the fall festival season has in store for Jennifer Carpenter. The former Dexter actress has been MIA on the red carpet for a while and she is coming out of hiding with the promo tour for her latest film Brawl in Cell Block 99. Before jetting to Toronto we will see Jennifer on the red carpet in Venice and I am hoping that she will deliver something really dramatic for that premiere. For TIFF I would love to see her step out for the midnight madness premiere wearing this electric blue Badgley Mischka Resort 2018 fit to flare sleeveless gown with a ruffled bow on the shoulder. Gowns at a midnight madness premiere might be a little much, but this look was the first thing I thought off for Jennifer when I was picking my TIFF wishes. I think that the striking color of the gown would make for a perfect option for Jennifer to rock on the red carpet. Glamorous accessories including a silver Sophia Webster ‘Vivi Lilico’ crystal box clutch, a red lip, kohl rimmed eye, diamond cluster earrings, sleek romantic updo, and a pair of silver crystal embellished Badgley Mischka ‘Karmen’ metallic leather sandals would add the perfect finishing touches. Rounding out this list is the beautiful Nicole Kidman who will be presenting her film The Killing of a Sacred Deer as a special presentation at TIFF after she first premiered it at Cannes earlier this year. I would absolutely fall in love with this sequin and bead floral embroidered Erdem Resort 2018 cap sleeve cocktail dress which features a midi length if Nicole wore it on the red carpet in Toronto. I love both of these dresses and I think that for an event like TIFF that it would be absolute perfection on Nicole. With a sleek low bun, light pink lip, navy clutch, and a pair of light blue velvet Manolo Blahnik ‘BB’ pumps this would be yet another absolutely beautiful red carpet moment for Nicole this year.
