In 2017 it wouldn’t be a major red carpet event without Isabelle Huppert. The seasoned French actress has found a new awakening thanks to her Oscar nominated role in Elle and we have seen her at all the big events since. The Met Gala, the Cannes Film Festival, and now she will be seen on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival. Isabelle will be present her latest flick Marvin in the Horizons selection of this years festival, and I cannot wait to see what she will rock on the red carpets. For the Marvin photocall I would love to see Isabelle Huppert step onto the stage giving us eternal chic wearing this black and white Christian Dior Cruise 2018 midi dress which is actually a black coat dress layered over a crisp white menswear inspired button down. I think that this look is majorly chic and that Isabelle will make it a totally French chic moment for a photocall. Is it a really bold or major red carpet moment? No, but sometimes classic elegance is the right move to make for a red carpet appearance. Isabelle recently added bangs to her hairstyle, and while I am usually not a fan of bangs she makes them work. I think that with a loose wavy hairstyle, red lip, and black pumps Isabelle would deliver a very chic moment on the red carpet. For the premiere I went for something much more dramatic. I would probably gasp loudly and then jump up and down with joy if Isabelle stepped on the red carpet on the Venice Lido wearing this bold red Giambattista Valli Resort 2018 gown which features a jewel neckline, a cape overlay design, and a full length skirt. This gown screams drama and glamour and I definitely think that on Isabelle that it would be given this gown a more effortless approach. With a pair of dyed to match satin pumps, a high and tight Chopard diamond collar necklace, chic waves, and a red lip I know that this would definitely be one of my favorite looks from this years festival.

The 2017 Venice Film Festival opens on August 30, 2017 and runs through September 9, 2017.
