2017 Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 5

We are just two days away from the 2017 Teen Choice Awards and the carpet is shaping up to be a really major set of moments. How many moments can we fit into the next two days for wishes for the Teen Choice Awards red carpet? Well there are about 10 more wishes that I have to make, and I know that there are people that are going to attend that I am just not going to be able to fit in. Most of the time I don’t know everyone who attends a red carpet event and I am just not able to fit all of them in at one time. Other reasons stars might not be featured in a wish list is because I just don’t know enough about their style and what I could or should pull for them. I adore Emma Watson and with the major success of Beauty and the Beast, which has earned Emma 3 Teen Choice Awards nominations. Emma also has a Choice Drama Movie Actress nomination for her role in The Circle. All of Emma’s red carpet looks have been all about red carpet sustainability and I am really interested to see what she will wear on the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night, if she attends. Emma changed stylists this year after the Beauty and the Beast tour and I have to say I am not sure what I think yet. Emma’s new stylist dresses some stars that I know have great potential, but consistently underwhelm me anymore. Emma’s looks with her new stylist so far seem like they are not trying to change her style but working really well together. For the red carpet I would love to see Emma turn heads in this blue and red plaid Louis Vuitton Fall 2017 RTW full skirted, sequined mini dress. I know that Sophie Turner wore a similar dress to the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2018 show, but I would really love to see Emma wearing this dress on the red carpet. It is fun and flirty, but also very high fashion. The dress just is such a statement that with a sleek low bun, lined eye, pink lip, and a pair of black sandals it would make for a major moment. Kat Graham is nominated for the hit CW series The Vampire Diaries, and I can totally imagine that she will be on the red carpet on Sunday giving us full edgy glam. When it comes to dress code Kat takes things in her own lanes. Kat loves an 80’s style moment on the red carpet so I think that she would totally rock the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards wearing Roland van der Kemp Spring 2017 Couture cocktail dress which features a black and white tuxedo bodice and a frilly bright yellow ruffled skirt. Picking this dress for Kat was so extremely easy. The dress fits her general aesthetic and I totally think that she will kill the red carpet in this design. The dress might be a little too much for the Teen Choice Awards, but I don’t think that really matters all that much for Kat. I would keep the black leather pointed toe stilettos adding voluminous curls, a smokey eye, white clutch, and a red lip to really finish this look perfectly. If you have read any of my other sets of wishes you will know that I am really excited to see what the cast of Pretty Little Liars will wear on the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards. Last year Lucy Hale wore couture so this year I went for something that is hot off the runway. I think that Lucy would look so incredibly chic on the Teen Choice Awards red carpet wearing this pink, red, and blue floral Emanuel Ungaro Resort 2018 strapless mini dress which features a pickup detailed bubble skirt. This dress reminds me of the tops that Raf Simons did for his debut couture collection for Dior, but in a more accessible and youthful manner. I think that Lucy would definitely shut that red carpet down with this very fun, avant garde, and flirty confection. I would love this look even more if Lucy paired the look with a pair of matching blue sandals, old Hollywood waves over one shoulder, light pink lip, and a red box clutch.Supergirl Melissa Benoist is nominated for 3 Teen Choice Awards and is presenting this weekend. I am really interested in seeing what she will bring to the red carpet. I don’t really know what Melissa’s style is. Her first red carpet she wore a band new Monique Lhuillier for the 2016 Golden Globe Awards. Since then she has just showed meh red carpet looks and I am hoping that she gives us something that I can fall in love with on the red carpet. I went back to Monique Lhuillier for her Teen Choice red carpet moment. I think that this blush pink floral guipure lace strapless cocktail dress from the Monique Lhuillier Resort 2018 that is layered under a black short sleeve, lace trimmed knit top and an embroidered belt is a perfect look for Melissa to wear on the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards. I don’t feel like she would drop the black knit top from the look, but will give us a great look with it. I think that with a pair of simple nude sandals, loose waves, neutral eye, and a light pink lip that this would put Melissa back on track, style wise. Yara Shahidi is a red carpet queen in my mind and in general all around. Yara is in the hit show Black-ish, getting her own spin off College-ish, and is getting ready to start classes for real at Harvard University. She is literally so on top of her game in her life and her choices of fashion really compliment that idea perfectly. If anyone can bring a really major couture moment to the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards I feel like it would be Yara. I think that this pink and silver Giambattista Valli Fall 2017 Couture sleeveless, embellished tweed, 60’s mod mini dress would look so incredibly chic on Yara and while it might be a little much for the Teen Choice Awards red carpet that Yara would just shut the red carpet down. I think that with a major pulled back afro and a pair of silver pumps that this look would be nothing but a total win for Yara.
