2017 Teen Choice Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 1

Over the next couple of days we are going to really delve into all of the stars who are nominated for the 2017 Teen Choice Awards. Usually I get skeptical to do big sets of wishes for the Teen Choice Awards because most of the stars who are nominated won’t show up, but I have a feeling that will be a major event this year. I feel like most of the big stars that are nominated have a great shot at winning the surf board this year, so I am just hoping that we have a great red carpet on Sunday night. Anna Kendrick is nominated for two awards on Sunday the first is Choice Comedy Movie Actress and the other is Choice Twit. Anna’s film Table 19, which she earned her nomination for, was a cute film and one of only two nominated that I have actually seen. I would imagine that Ellen DeGeneres will win for Finding Dory, but I would still like to see Anna walk the red carpet and enjoy the show. The dress code for Teen Choice is varried. People will show up in everything from jeans to couture cocktail dresses and everything in between. I decided to go with a ready-to-wear cocktail dress with this orange Christopher Kane Fall 2017 RTW cap sleeve origami structured mini dress. I think that Anna would really make this a fun look, despite it being very covered and structured. Fun and flirty are the normal ways to pick a look for the Teen Choice Awards and this look really only checks the fun box, but I totally love it. On the runway the dress was paired with fur trimmed Crocs, which are just god awful, I would pick a much more glamorous pair of shoes like gold glitter Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ pointed toe pumps to add more fun glamour to this look. A high pony and pretty neutral makeup will ensure that this is such a chic red carpet moment for the Teen Choice Awards.Gal Gadot is a front runner for many awards thanks to her title role in Wonder Woman which kicked off the summer as the biggest blockbuster of the year. Gal love to wear red on the red carpet so I went to what seems like her favorite color for her to wear again on Sunday night. I took a more casual approach to dressing for her to rock the red carpet in this Yigal Azrouël Resort  2018 ensemble which features a pleated and embroidered sleeveless baby-doll style blouse and matching ankle length pants. While this is a more casual look, this is a more casual red carpet, and since Gal has hit big movie star status with the success of Wonder Woman I think that this is the perfect kind of look for her to wear on this red carpet. I would totally keep the styling from the look book with the wavy locks pinned behind her ear and a pair of red suede Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pumps. Adding a red lip might be a little too matchy for most, but I think that Gal should go for it. I think that it would all add up to an amazing moment for Gal.Maren Morris is the latest fashionista rising out of the country music scene. It has been a while since someone has given me something to get excited about from the ranks of country music and Maren has definitely started to make me take notice of her style. Maren is nominated with Thomas Rhett for Choice Country Song for their song Craving You” and I would imagine that she will be on the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night. So far most of Maren’s red carpet looks have been courtesy of Micheal Costello so I decided to branch out her red carpet repertoire by picking this black to silver sequin embroidered ombré Georges Hobeika Fall 207 RTW cocktail dress which features a round neckline, a sleeveless silhouette, and an A-line mini skirt. This dress is fun and funky choice for Maren to make for the Teen Choice Awards red carpet. With a simple small black Prada snakeskin clutch, smokey eye, a collection of diamond rings, and a pair of black satin Stuart Weitzman ‘MyBow’ sandals I think that this would be a totally amazing look for Maren. Nina Dobrev is a favorite to see on the red carpet so I am hoping that her nomination for Choice Action Movie Actress for her role in xXx: Return of Xander Cage will get her to step out and walk the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night. Nina has worn some pretty looks this year, but she hasn’t blown me away this year. I hope that when she steps out on Sunday that she gives me something to get excited about. When I first saw this lavender, neon yellow, and navy Versace Resort 2018 color blocked, draped mini dress which features sheer cap sleeves I immediately thought of Nina wearing. I think that this dress is fun and flirty, which I think would make for an absolutely perfect red carpet moment at the Teen Choice Awards red carpet moment. This dress is such a statement that I would go really simple with the styling adding a simple pair of black Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals, smokey eyes, and a sleek bob to really make this a really fun moment on the red carpet. Another of my favorite starlets to see on the red carpet is Zoe Saldana and with a Choice Sci-Fi Movie Actress and Choice Movie Ship for the blockbuster film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 I am praying that she brings her amazing style to the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night. I can totally see Zoe step out onto the red carpet at the TCA’s looking incredibly bohemian chic ensemble. This was the very first look I picked for all my Teen Choice Awards wishes. This amazing Rosie Assoulin Fall 2017 RTW ensemble which features a rust and mustard mismatched print Swarovski crystal embellished cowl neck draped halter top and a pair of rust printed and navy crystal embellished track pants screams for a major movie star to wear me on the red carpet at an event like the Teen Choice Awards, and I think that Zoe would absolutely kill it on the red carpet wearing this ensemble. The pumps from the lookbook would really make this incredibly chic but I would elevate this look with a pair of dark red velvet Valentino bow embellished sandals, chic ponytail, and neutral makeup to make this ensemble absolutely perfect.
