“Battle of the Sexes” London Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

It was just last week that we saw that Emma Stone and Steve Carell’s latest film Battle of the Sexes was selected for the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival, but I find myself wondering if there will be other independent premieres outside of the festival circuit. The film was also rumored to be selected for the Venice Film Festival, but it was not. There are still the New York and London Film Festivals, but with a mid-September release date, I think that those film festivals will be out of the question. After showcasing the film at TIFF I would love to see the cast take the film on the road and have independent premieres for the film in LA and London. I already made my wish for Emma to wear a gorgeous Elie Saab gown for an LA premiere, and I picked an even more dramatic look for her to wear in London. I put this black and gold Atelier Versace Fall 2017 Couture embroidered halter gown on my 20 Must See Red Carpet Look From Fall 2017 Couture list and it was Emma who I said that I really wanted to see wearing this gown on the red carpet. It was Emma that immediately came to mind when I saw this gown in the collection lookbook on Vogue.com and I think that she would definitely bring this look to life on a red carpet. Emma’s blonde hair throws me, and I am really hoping that as she heads into fall festival, and subsequently awards season, that we see her return to her red locks. I think that the red hair would compliment this gown much more so than the blonde. Adding a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Christervia’ silk ribbon strappy sandals, gold set diamond cluster earrings, a red lip, and a wavy romantic updo would ensure that this is an absolutely beautiful moment.
