Over the next couple of days I am going to be featuring wishes for films that do not yet have premiere date’s scheduled but that I don’t want to loose them come the time for the fall festivals heading into the awards season. I am saying that the premiere for The Hitman’s Bodyguard will be in LA, but in all honestly there is just as likely of a chance that it would take place in NYC. It definitely has an all-star cast with Ryan Reynolds, Salma Hayek, and Samuel L. Jackson, so I think that the red carpet at this premiere has the potential to be really major.Blake Lively has the most amazing style out of anyone in Hollywood and almost always walks the red carpet at her hubby Ryan Reynolds premieres. I would bet that when this premiere does come about that Blake will be there by Ryan’s side looking beautiful supporting him fully. It has been a long while since we last saw Blake front a Chanel ad campaign, but she remains friends with Karl Lagerfeld and still rocks Chanel on the red carpet. I think it is Blake’s status as a former Chanel face would bode well for her being able to get her hands on this black silk Chanel Fall 2017 Couture peplum bodice midi dress which features a pearl embellished tassel neckline. This is an absolutely perfect plus one look, but with this collection being so new I wonder if Blake could get her hands on this gown for a smaller premiere. If she could then a simple pair of black sandals, old Hollywood waves, red lip, and some pearl and diamond jewelry would ensure that Blake has another beautiful plus-one moment. When it comes to her red carpet style I rarely like anything that Salma Hayek wears anymore. I understand that she likes to help represent the brands which her husband’s company, Kering, owns, but she just doesn’t fit the vibe of the brands. That is why I decided to go outside the small scope of brands that are under the Kering umbrella and search for a perfect look for Salma to wear for this premiere. Before she met her husband Salma sizzled wearing several Versace gowns on the red carpet and I decided to go back to the label for her to wear for the premiere of The Hitman’s Bodyguard. This navy blue one shoulder bias draped cocktail dress from the Versace Fall 2017 RTW collection is perfect. It meshes classic style and sensual glamour perfectly. I would imagine that Salma would not wear the long sleeve sheer under dress with this look, but I think that without it that the look just screams classic glamour. I wouldn’t expect Salma to completely shun the Kering brands in fact I would love to see her pair the look with a pair of embellished gold Gucci ‘Allie’ sandals adding a gold box clutch, loose waves, smokey eye, and red lip to make this one of her best red carpet looks in a long time.
