“Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” London Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

Well we have reached my final set of wishes for the Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets promo tour. On Monday July 24, 2017 at the Cineworld Leicester Square theater in London the cast will converge for the final premiere, that I am aware of at least, of the film. I have high expectations for the whole cast as they jet around the world promoting this film. I am hoping that we will see absolutely jaw dropping looks from the cast as they round out a major series of red carpets. I would say the most pressure is on main star Cara Delevinge. When it comes to her history of movie premieres Cara has ever only worn mini dresses for her red carpet looks. I would like to see a little more variation in her looks as she runs the world promoting Valerian. I picked a dramatic Armani Prive gown for Cara to wear in LA and a short Chanel Couture dress for her to wear in NYC, now for London I went with a simpler gown for Cara to wear on the red carpet. I would love it if Cara showed up on the red carpet at this premiere wearing this very simple, yet extremely glamorous white Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture halter gown which features a beaded bodice (which I would like to see lined,) and an asymmetrical pleated skirt. I think of all the gowns that I picked for Cara to wear during the tour, that this one is the most her. Cara has never been fond of big princess gowns or dramatic silhouettes in general, so I think the clean simple style of this gown are perfect for this premiere. I would go full glam in the styling of this look adding a statement diamond pendant necklace, smokey eye, silver sandals, and a red lip to really make this look perfection.Elizabeth Debicki is the one that I am most worried about. She seemed to have this fashionista status before she made her first big role in The Great Gatsby, but I have just not seen much justification for that title. I hope that over the course of this promo tour that Elizabeth will show me why she originally earned that distinction. I would love to see Elizabeth go for classic glamour wearing this white Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2017 Couture sweetheart neckline pencil dress and embroidered polka dot, three quarter length sleeve, yoke for this premiere. I think that if anyone can make this dress work on the red carpet that it would be Elizabeth. The glamour of the look is what I think will play to Elizabeth the most and I really think that she will deliver this as a beautiful moment on the red carpet. Styling the look with a pair of white pumps, chic updo, lined eye, red lip, diamond cluster earrings, and a white clutch would make this one of my favorite looks that Elizabeth has ever worn.Rounding out this set of wishes is the absolutely gorgeous Rihanna. Now I am not totally sure how big Rihanna’s role in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets is, but I am hoping that she will make the world rounds to promote the film. The London premiere is going to be a big one and I know that Rihanna will shut the red carpet down no matter how big her role in the film is. I went back and forth on what look I most wanted to see Rihanna wearing on the red carpet. It changed three or for times I went from a Fall 2017 RTW gown to a dramatic Resort 2018 gown by British designer Molly Goodard and ultimately I settled on this dramatic red medieval inspired Elie Saab Fall 2017 Couture gown which features a cold shoulder, long sleeve, peplum bodice and a faux wrap column skirt. This look is dramatic and elegant and I know that Rihanna would more than do it justice on the red carpet. With tight, voluminous curls, a pair of red sandals, red lip, and a pair of Chopard diamond and ruby cluster earrings all would ensure that Rihanna comes to own the red carpet at this premiere.
