“Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” LA Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

If there has been one promo tour this year that I have been most excited about it has to be the one for Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The film started to build some buzz earlier this year with Cara Delevinge promoting it at Cinema-Con and the time has come for it to finally have it’s international promo tour. The film will kick off its promo tour with a premiere in LA on July 17 slowly moving east until it hits the premiere in London on July 24. This will be the big contender for Best Ensemble Cast and of course fighting withing the cast for a chance at my Best Promo Tour of the Year award and any of the ladies in this have have the potential to take home that prize. We just saw Cara Delevinge in Paris for Couture fashion week and with friends at houses like Dior and Chanel there are pretty much endless possibilities that she could pick right off the runway to wear during this tour. Who knows maybe I’ll pick a look from one of those brands for one of the upcoming posts for the NYC or London premiere, but I had already thought of this Armani Prive gown before Paris Fashion Week, and I love it so I am keeping with it. This black Armani Prive Fall 2016 Couture gown which features a sheer long sleeve bodice with strategically placed embellished pocket like details and a peplum waisted velvet trumpet skirt just screamed Cara to me. The gown is in Cara’s favorite color and I think that for a big blockbuster premiere that the dramatic silhouette would be a refreshing change from Cara’s favored mini dresses. When it comes to her past red carpet gowns Cara likes column skirts and dramatic splits, so this gown is a definite departure from her norm. One that I think could really be an absolutely major gown. With her shaved head starting to grow again I think that it would add another layer of edge to this look. With a diamond earcuff, black Christian Louboutin sandals, a smokey eye, and a red lip will really make this an absolutely major moment for Cara to wear for this premiere.Elizabeth Debicki stars alongside Cara in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and I am really interested to see what she will bring to the red carpet at the LA premiere. When it comes to her style Elizabeth has ups and downs. I am hoping that over the course of this promo tour that we only see amazing things from Elizabeth. I think that Mrs. Debicki would look absolutely lovely wearing this white Reem Acra Resort 2018 full length chiffon cape tunic and white pants. The look is this very laid back take on high glamour and I think that Elizabeth would really make this an extremely chic red carpet moment. I would style this look with a chic coif, lined eye, light pink lip, silver sandals, and a pair of diamond cluster earrings to really make this an extremely chic moment.Rihanna is always one of my favorites to see on the red carpet and I am really hoping that she blows us all away on the red carpets over the course of this promo tour. For the LA premiere of Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets I really want to see Rihanna deliver something I don’t think anyone else could. This magenta Balenciaga Fall 2017 RTW strapless, high-low, trapeze gown is dramatic and a true statement that I think only Rihanna could make this gown work. Inspired by original Cristóbal Balenciaga designs from the 1960s and I do think that for this red carpet that it would be the perfect look for RiRi to rock. I think that Rihanna would definitely rock the look with the pink jersey boots that the look was paired with on the runway. Rounding out the look with a chic updo, diamond cluster earrings, a diamond cuff bracelet, and full old school glam makeup would ensure that Rihanna shuts this red carpet down.
