“Alien: Covenant” London Premiere Red Carpet Wish List

I am getting ready to delve into a whole lot of wishes for the Met Gala and the Cannes Film Festival, but I have a few unrelated events to make wishes for before that happens. Alien: Covenant is the latest installment of the film franchise and is set to have a big gala premiere in London on May 5, 2017. The film stars some of the best rising stars when it comes to red carpet style. Carmen Ejogo is one of mt favorite rising style stars and I am really excited to see what she will bring to a big budget promo tour like this. For the London premiere of Alien: Covenant I want to see Carmen really bring it to the red carpet. This black Elie Saab Fall 2016 RTW gown which features spaghetti straps, a velvet bodice, and a full length tulle skirt with cascading gold beaded embroidery would be a truly magical moment. The gown meshes the dark vibes of the film with this glamour and femininity that Carmen wears with ease. This gown is glamour and edge all wrapped into one package and I think that it would be perfect for the London premiere of a big budget blockbuster film. Simple black sandals, a pair of gold set diamond cluster earrings, a romantic updo, a smokey eye, and red lip are what I would add to ensure that this is another major moment.Katherine Waterston is another rising star on the red carpet who has captured the eye of several of the top fashion labels. We could see Katherine step out to promote Alien: Covenant around the world wearing labels like Prada, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Ulyana Sergeenko, Chanel, Elie Saab, or Christian Dior but I went with Schiaparelli. Last year Katherine wore a nude and pink Schiaparelli gown and it was one of her best looks ever and I think that sticking with that winning combination would make this another winning moment. I actually stuck with the same collection as that gown from last year picking this black and gold beaded bias draped gown from the Schiaparelli Fall 2016 Couture collection which features a strong shoulder, a slightly plunging neckline, and sequin ribbon inspired details would be gorgeous. The gown is perfect for Katherine because I can just see her standing as statuesque as possible as she walks the red carpet wearing this look. A lot of the problems that I have with Katherine’s red carpet looks come down to her beauty regimen. I get the barely there makeup trend, but that doesn’t work out very well with couture. A simple, yet sleek hairstyle, a lined eye, a light pink lip, and a simple pair of black sandals would make this a perfect look for Katherine to wear on the red carpet at this premiere.
