2017 Academy Awards: Presenters Red Carpet Wish List Part 3

annette-bening-2017-academy-awards-red-carpet-wish-list-1THE OSCARS ARE JUST 3 DAYS AWAY! AHHHHHHHHH! I am so excited to see what the stars will bring to the red carpet. Annette Bening wore a gorgeous wearing beaded Pamella Roland gown for the Golden Globes last month and got me excited to see what she would wear through the rest of awards season. Unfortunately Annette will only have made appearances at the first big red carpet and then the last. Her usual red carpet look is a column gown, but for the Oscars I am looking to see something a little different. I think that Annette would look absolutely gorgeous wearing this emerald Alexis Mabille Pre-Fall 2017 gown which features a square neckline, full length sleeves, decorative gold buttons, and a maxi a-line skirt. The flowing skirt of this gown I think would be a glamorous departure for Annette’s normal style, and perfect for the Oscars red carpet. I can just picture Annette walking out on the glossy stage at the Dolby Theater wearing this gown to do her presenting duties. Styling this gown with a textured pixie, lined eye, red lip, gold pumps, and a pair of gold set diamond cluster earrings would really add the perfect finishing touches to ensure this is an amazing Oscar moment. hailee-steinfeld-2017-academy-awards-red-carpet-wish-list-1Hailee Steinfeld hasn’t been to the Academy Awards since she first stepped onto the scene back in 2011 and her nomination for True Grit. While it is now 6 years later and Hailee isn’t nominated she will be back on the red carpet as one of the many fabulous presenters this Sunday night. I am really hoping that Hailee will deliver a really dramatic and glamorous red carpet moment at the Oscars on Sunday night. This midnight blue Ralph & Russo Fall 2014 Couture embellished ballgown which features a sheer illusion bodice and a gorgeous big bow detail would be that kinda of dramatic and glamorous moment that I would love to see Hailee bring to the red carpet on Sunday. I have been really surprised that this gown went through two award season and two Cannes Film Festivals and still hasn’t been worn. Hailee has grown into the glam fashion girl that could really make this gown work on the red carpet. Some might say that this gown is too much since Hailee is just a presenter and not nominated or in any of the nominated films, but I say that if you can’t go big on the Oscars red carpet then when can you? A pair of diamond and sapphire cluster earrings, a pair of navy satin sandals, chic updo, smokey eye, and a bold red lip would ensure that this look is perfection for the Oscar carpet. I went with a much simpler J. Mendel gown for Hailee to change into for the Vanity Fair party afterwards. kate-mckinnon-2017-academy-awards-red-carpet-wish-list-1Kate McKinnon is the newbie to the Academy Awards of this list and I am intrigued to see what she will wear on her first Oscars red carpet. I went with this nude J. Mendel Fall 2017 RTW gown which features gorgeous silver sequin embellishments, a plunging neckline, and a tiered column skirt because it just exudes old Hollywood glamour and I know that Kate would really look so elegant wearing this creation on the red carpet. When they first announced that Kate was a presenter for this Sundays awards I was wondering if I would even feature a wish for her because I really don’t know her style and I have just been watching her looks to get a feel for her taste. Then I was flipping through the Fall 2017 RTW collections and I saw this gown and I immediate saw the look in my head. Old Hollywood waves, diamond drop earrings, a lined eye, red lip, silver clutch, and silver sandals would make this the perfect look for Kate to wear on her very first Academy Awards red carpet.

I will be live tweeting the 2017 Academy Awards red carpet, show, and after parties. All night starting at 5PM on Sunday, please join me.
