I said the other day that there was nothing from Coach that I could see on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair party, and I think I should have made it clear that there wasn’t anything from the label that I would like to see Selena Gomez wearing for the Vanity Fair red carpet. Chloe Grace Moretz is another of Stuart Vevers muses for his tenure as the current creative director of Coach 1941. Stuart has made Coach into a luxury label to be reckoned with again. The fashion pack was bountifully wearing the coats from the label during New York Fashion Week and has had some really gorgeous red carpet moments over the last two years. For this Vanity Fair red carpet I would love to see Chloe wearing this oxblood Coach 1941 Spring 2017 RTW cocktail dress which seems to mesh parrie dress with Roman gladiator with 20’s flapper with printed floral chiffon and leather fringe detailing. This dress is sweet and though at the same time and I really do think that it could be a gorgeous moment on the red carpet. Since the dress is such a statement I would just have Chloe style this look with Veronica Lake waves, a smokey eye, nude lip, and a pair of simple black sandals to really let the dress be the focus of this look. Greta Gerwig is always up and down when it comes to her red carpet style and I am hoping that if she steps out on Oscar night that she will do so with her best foot forward. I would love to see Greta, who holds a minor supporting role in Jackie, wearing this gorgeous peacock blue floral print Gucci Spring 2017 RTW strapless gown which features subtle ruffle detailing. This gown could be very chic and while the print isn’t good for the main Oscars ceremony works perfectly for an after party like the Vanity Fair red carpet. I am honestly surprised that no one has worn this gown on the red carpet yet and I think that it could really make for the perfect look for Greta (or anyone really) to wear on the red carpet during Oscar night parties. Styling the look with a sleek side parted hairstyle, lined eye, red lip, black sandals, and some statement blue stone Bulgari earrings would definitely make this Greta’s best look ever.Kate Bosworth is one of my favorite ladies to see on the red carpet and I am praying that she will be on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair party next Sunday night. Kate has the presence that can make so many looks work on the red carpet and I am intrigued to see what she would bring to the Vanity Fair red carpet. In the past Kate has worn gowns by Calvin Klein, Ralph & Russo, and Valentino as well as cocktail looks from Giambattista Valli, Prabal Gurung, and Alexander McQueen, so her style can vary. I would say that it seems that one year she wears long and the next she wears short. Last year Kate wore a gorgeous Ralph & Russo Couture gown so I am predicting that this year that she will go for something short. I am in love with this look from the Alexis Mabille Spring 2017 Couture collection which features an embellished tiara inspired bandeau trapeze dress and I really do think that with her effortless, statuesque glamour would make this dress work on the red carpet. Styling the dress with a pair of black sandals, an embellished black Judith Leiber clutch, diamond cluster earrings, a smokey eye, and light pink lip would definitely ensure that this is an absolutely amazing moment for Kate.Olivia Munn used to be one of my favorite ladies to see on the red carpet but the last quarter of last year she fell from grace as was perpetually on my worst dressed list. I am intrigued to see if she steps out for the Vanity Fair party next Sunday if she will be back on top. I decided for this red carpet to go to a goldenrod Cavalli Couture gown which features a plunging neckline, embroidered bodice, and flowing skirt because I can really picture this gown making this a gorgeous statement for the Vanity Fair red carpet, and I think that on Olivia (if styled correctly) that this will be a beautiful moment. Styling the look with a chic updo, lined eye, nude lip, diamond cluster earrings, and a pair of bronze sandals would really ensure that this is a major moment for Olivia, taking her back to the top. Taylor Swift has been laying low since her split with Tom Hiddleston last year and I am ready to see her on the red carpet again. Taylor is a usual at the Vanity Fair Oscar party and I would love to see her step out, especially since her song “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” with Zyan from Fifty Shades Darker has become such a huge hit. If she does step out I want to see a very feminine and glamorous side of Taylor’s style as opposed to the try hard pop star looks that she wore a lot of last year. I think that this strapless white Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture fully embellished gown which features a flowing chiffon train would definitely be the perfect look for Taylor to make her red carpet return. The gown is classic glamour and I have to say that I am honestly shocked that to this point that no one has snatched this gown from the runway for the red carpet. A sleek updo, smokey eye, red lip, diamond drop earrings, a white Edie Parker clutch, and silver sandals would just add the perfect icing to this look for Taylor.
Oscar Night 2017 is Sunday February 26, 2017.
