2017 Academy Awards: After Parties Red Carpet Wish List Part 6

bella-heathcote-2017-oscar-parties-red-carpet-wish-list-1As I have said Oscar night is the most glamorous night of the year. I am expecting to see so many amazing red carpets over the course of evening. The Vanity Fair party always draws out some of the biggest names in film and I would expect that Bella Heathcote will be on the red carpet. Bella is gorgeous and one of my favorite red carpet underdogs and I am praying that she brings something gorgeous to the red carpet if she steps out next Sunday night. I think that this black new look inspired Christian Dior Fall 2016 Couture midi dress which features delicate embellishment, puffy sleeves, a plunging neckline, peplum waist, and an a-line skirt would be gorgeous on Bella. The gown is a dark and moody take on glamour and I do think that Bella would be absolutely gorgeous wearing this creation on the red carpet. Finishing the look with a pair of black Christian Louboutin ‘Marchavekel’ platform knot sandals, sleek hair pinned behind the ears, a smokey eye, red lip, black clutch, and a pair of diamond cluster earrings would really turn this into a wow moment for Bella on the Vanity Fair red carpet.emily-blunt-2017-oscar-parties-red-carpet-wish-list-1This awards season Emily Blunt was nominated for Best Actress at some shows and not at others for her performance in The Girl on the Train. I personally really liked Emily’s performance in the film and as much as I was hoping for her to get an Oscar nomination it was the toughest category this year. If Emily still steps out on Oscar night this year at the Vanity Fair party (with husband John Krasinski no doubt) I would love to see her wearing this gorgeous black Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2017 halter neck gown which features a halter style neckline, allover beading, and floral embellishments. This gown is gorgeous, simple, structural, feminine. A glamorous moment perfect for an Oscar party. A green satin Prada box clutch, black sandals, chic updo, smokey eye, pink lip, and diamond cluster earrings would add the perfect touches to this look for Emily. Jennifer Lopez puts the cap on her winter performances at her All I Have residency at the Planet Hollywood hotel in Las Vegas next Saturday night, so I thought why not jet to Hollywood for the Vanity Fair party the next night. At the Grammy Awards Jennifer showed a much softer side of her sexy style wearing a rose pink Ralph & Russo couture gown, and it was one of my favorite moments of the night. Also at the Grammy’s Celine Dion wore the emerald green Zuhair Murad gown that I had originally intended to make as my wish for JLo to wear. I have to say that it was one of my favorite Celine looks ever, so I am okay with it. I just went with another even grander emerald green gown from the Zuhair Murad Spring 2017 Couture collection with this one sleeve beaded and satin ball gown. I wasn’t planning on making such a bold choice for JLo to wear for Vanity Fair, but I think that she would really shut the red carpet down wearing this creation. Really going for it with this look adding a pair of emerald cluster earrings, smokey eye, nude lip, sleek ponytail, and a pair of metallic green Gucci leather crisscross embellished sandals would really turn this into an absolutely major moment for Jennifer on the red carpet. michelle-monaghan-2017-oscar-parties-red-carpet-wish-list-1Michelle Monaghan loves an excuse to get dressed up so it would not be surprising to see her take to the red carpet at the Vanity Fair party next Sunday. I went with this gorgeous strawberry milkshake pink Elie Saab Spring 2017 RTW sequined embellished gown which features a plunging V-neckline, kimono sleeves, an exaggerated front slit, and hand-beaded sequin detailing throughout because I think that Michelle would really work this look to it’s full potential. Hailey Baldwin wore a custom version of the gown for the Warner Bros./InStyle Golden Globes after party, and I loved everything about that look, except for Hailey’s hair. I think that this gown on Michelle paired with a chic bun, smokey eye, pink lip, diamond cluster earrings, a pink clutch, and a pair of pink glitter Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pointed toe pumps that this would be a gorgeous red carpet moment for Michelle. Ruth Negga has been the break out star of awards season fashion wise despite not being at the SAG or BAFTA Awards. I can almost guarantee that she will be on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair party since she is on the cover of the Vanity Fair “Hollywood Issue” and is an Academy Award nominee for Best Actress. I don’t expect Ruth to win an Oscar next weekend, but I am expecting her to win the red carpets. I am firmly sticking that with for the main ceremony red carpet that Ruth will wear Valentino Haute Couture (formal wish to come next Monday) but I decided to go with something a little more out there for her to change into for the Vanity Fair party. I was standing in line at the venue for New York Fashion Week when I saw the replay of the Brock Collection Fall 2017 RTW collection on the big screen and the moment I saw this bold red gown with a portrait neckline and a full ball skirt I said now that is an Oscar gown. The stars started to filter through my mind as to who could really bring this gown to a Hollywood red carpet and I finally was thought of it as the perfect look for Ruth to change into. Brock is a very fashion label and Ruth is a very fashion girl. This gown is classic glamour, while the color makes it a major bold statement. Styling the look with diamond cluster earrings, a bold red lip, and a pair of strappy red Miu Miu sandals would really just ensure that this is another gorgeous moment for Ruth as she celebrates her first Oscar nomination.

Oscar Night 2017 is Sunday February 26, 2017.
