The Oscars are just under 2 weeks away and it is the biggest night of red carpet’s of the year. From the main carpet to all the parties that take place I am expecting to see over 150 stars out on Oscar night. Since I wanted to wait until New York Fashion Week was over to start thinking about what the nominees will wear on the red carpet I decided to start this year’s Oscar night wishes with all the party looks. Sometimes the party looks can top the red carpet looks for the main show. The first wish for Oscar night I have is for the gorgeous Victoria’s Secret angel Alessandra Ambrosio who is one of the many celebrity co-chairs of this year’s Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party and is expected there and probably the Vanity Fair Party after. Alessandra has been killing her style choices lately (including being on the top of my Best Dressed of January list) and I am excited to see what she will wear on Oscar night. I think that this multicolored sequin Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2017 one sleeved embellished gown which features a asymmetric neckline, single sleeve silhouette, and allover sequins would be a KILLER moment for her to rock. This gown is glamorous and sexy which is exactly what I love about Alessandra who is also glamorous and sexy. This gown paired with a pair of simple black sandals, sleek pony, smokey eye, and a pair of diamond cluster earrings would really make this a killer wow moment for Alessandra to wear for the Elton John party, maybe changing into a more dramatic look from the Elie Saab Spring 2017 Couture collection for the Vanity Fair party Diane Kruger is a usual at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and I am really hoping that she is on the red carpet this year. As someone who almost always kills her red carpet game I would love for Diane to bring her signature risk taking glamour to the Vanity Fair party. The moment I saw this burgundy Giambattista Valli Spring 2017 Couture flounced hem mini dress which features rouched bodice and sleeves, and off the shoulder neckline, and a dramatic attached chiffon cape Diane was the first person to come to mind. I honestly can’t think of a better person than Diane to really turn this look into an absolutely major red carpet moment and this is a perfect look for an after party red carpet. Rounding out the look with a pair of black Aquazzura ‘Very Holli’ sandals, an edgy hairstyle, and a smokey eye would 100% ensure that this look is absolutely major and perfect for Diane. Almost every year Hilary Swank steps out on Oscar night for the Vanity Fair party and I am hoping that this year is no different. I think that Hilary would look gorgeous wearing this Alexis Mabille Pre-Fall 2017 floral a-line gown which v-neckline, cap sleeves, and a belted waist. The gown is a little more French relaxed glam than we are used to seeing on a big Hollywood red carpet, but I think that Hilary would look absolutely gorgeous in this creation. The gown is definitely not something that I immediately think of when it comes to Oscar night (in fact it’s a perfect Cannes gown,) but Hilary has the type of glamour about her that could really make this work for the Vanity Fair red carpet. Loose waves, gold set diamond cluster earrings, & a pair of gold sandals would add the perfect final touches.Kirsten Dunst is part of the cast of the Best Picture Oscar nominated film Hidden Figures and has made a few appearances this awards season to support this film, and I am hoping that we see her on Oscar night. If she is not at the main show I bet that Kirsten will be on the red carpet at the Vanity Fair party, and that her dress with be a more fun and flirty look. I think that this Gucci Pre-Fall 2017 floral, a-line gown which features a ruffled neckline would be exactly what Kirsten would go for on the red carpet for the Vanity Fair party. The dress is gorgeous and bold while being edgy and feminine all at the same time. With the dress being so visual, I would keep the styling simple with a sleek bun, lined eye, punchy pink lip, and black sandals to really ensure that this is a gorgeous moment for Kirsten on the Vanity Fair red carpet.Last up for the first party wish list is Rachel McAdams, who killed the promo tour for Doctor Strange last year. After all the amazing looks she wore on the red carpet then I have high expectations for what she could wear on Oscar night for the Vanity Fair party. This silver and nude Zuhair Murad Spring 2017 RTW gown dress features a sheath styled silhouette, stunning hand-beaded detailing throughout, and an exaggerated side slit detail would definitely keep Rachel on the top of her fashion game. The gown might be simple in silhouette but the the beading is a visual treat. The gown is such a visual treat that styling it with a pair of simple silver sandals, bold emerald statement earrings, old Hollywood waves, and a red lip would really keep this as another amazing moment for Rachel.
Oscar night 2017 will take place on Sunday February 26, 2017.
