I mentioned yesterday that if she attends all the award shows at which she is nominated at the end of this month that Isabelle Huppert is going to be one busy woman. That long weekend of awards would kick off in Paris on Friday February 24, 2017 with the Cesar Awards where she is nominated for Best Actress for her role in Elle. Isabelle has definitely been one to watch on the red carpet and I am excited to see what the rest of awards season has in store for her. Isabelle was seated front row at the Armani Prive Spring 2017 Couture presentation and has since wore one of the looks from the collection on the red carpet at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon. I decided that one outing from Isabelle and this Armani collection is not enough and I would be really excited to see her wearing this tangerine orange Armani Prive Spring 2017 Couture ensemble which features a column gown and a puffy sleeve bolero jacket. Orange is a bold color to wear on the red carpet, and it is NOT for everyone. I do think that Isabelle could really make this a majorly chic moment on the red carpet. Since the gown is such a bold statement on it’s own I think that a chic updo, smokey eye, nude lip, and a pair of gold pumps would definitely make this a major moment. Lily Rose Depp, daughter of Chanel darling Vanessa Paradis, has found herself a darling of the label herself. Lily closed the Chanel Spring 2017 Couture show wearing the southern belle inspired pink wedding gown and I would put money on Lily wearing Chanel for the Cesar Awards red carpet. Lily has earned a Most Promising Actress nomination for her role in The Dancer, which she premiered at Cannes last year also wearing Chanel. For the Cesar red carpet I think that this mint Chanel Spring 2017 Couture strapless gown which features a rouched bodice and a belted waist would be an amazing moment for Lily to wear on. The dress is classic and elegant and I think that Lily would just look incredibly gorgeous wearing the label on the red carpet. Finishing this look with a romantic updo, pink pout, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of silver sandals would really make this an amazing look for Lily. Marion Cotillard is also nominated at the Cesar Awards for a film that she debuted at Cannes with a Best Actress nomination for her role in From the Land of the Moon. Marion has been delivering some really great maternity looks and I am intrigued to see what she will pull out for this red carpet. As a Dior darling I would expect that she will wear a custom couture gown on this red carpet, as there wasn’t really any looks from the recent collections that would work as maternity wear that really scream Marion. So instead I turned to Giambattista Valli Fall 2016 Couture collection and this one shoulder goddess gown which features a cape like detail and an embellished waistband. I would however turn this gown into the gorgeous purple that was also presented in this collection. The gown would drape deautifully over Marion’s baby bump and really deliver a magical red carpet moment for her A pair of black Dior sandals, diamond drop earrings, a sleek updo, and a red lip would really make this look perfection.
