Since his auf on Project Runway Michael Costello has just grown and grown and grown into a really major designer that has been embraced by the biggest retailers, publications, and celebrities around the world. I have to say that with his signature dramatic and sexy glamour that this was a show that I was really excited to take in. Perched front row (thank you to the cute PR guy I wish I had given my number too) I watched as each look in this collection wafted down the runway. The glamour of it all was AMAZING. I found myself ooooing and ahhhhing as each look came down the runway. The show was amazing and definitely red carpet ready. This season the Michael Costello woman can be described as the coolest chick on the planet (as per usual.) She takes rock and roll to a new level with inspiration from Victoriana to Studio 54 and glamour either way. The show opened with a series of all white looks that ranged from angelic to uber sexy followed by black and decadent champagne looks and amazing black and gold beaded ensembles. The collection is for sure going to been seen all over the red carpets, maybe even starting this weekend with the Grammy Awards. There were so many gorgeous moments that it was hard for me to pick my favorite. I think that the white lace sheer a-line gown with gorgeous corsetry (seen above far left) was among the top of my favorites. There is sooooooo much red carpet potential. The black and gold beaded jumpsuit (which let me tell you pictures do no justice) with a plunging neckline (seen bellow center) is perfect for JLo to wear on the red carpet at the Grammy’s where she is presenting tomorrow. Other stars I can seen rocking this collection on the red carpet include Beyonce, Meghan Trainor, Emily Ratajkowski, Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Justine Skye, Elizabeth Banks, Nicole Scherzinger, Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Lady Gaga, Rita Ora, Laverne Cox, Alessandra Ambrosio, Chrissy Teigan, Amber Heard, Lily Collins, Angela Sarafayn, Chanel Iman, Gabrielle Union, Hailey Baldwin, Janelle Monae, Lea Michele, Miranda Kerr, Jourdan Dunn, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, and Taraji P. Henson.
