2017 Grammy Awards Red Carpet Wish List Part 2

amy-schumer-2017-grammy-awards-red-carpet-wish-list-1There are a whole host of famous faces that are set to attend the Grammy Awards this weekend, and a bit of an eclectic group at that. You might look at me a little lopsided when you find out that comedian Amy Schumer is actually nominated at the Grammy’s, for Best Spoken Word Album (for her audio book of “The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo” and for Best Comedy Album, so I am sure that she will be on the red carpet. I don’t think that Amy will wear any sort of a gown for the Grammy’s. First Amy doesn’t like to wear gowns anyway, plus it really isn’t her night anyway as her categories will probably be announced in the pre-telecast show. I think that this black Self-Portrait Spring 2017 RTW ensemble which features an asymmetrical macrame lace bodice and tapered tuxedo pants would be right up Amy’s ally and a perfect look for the Grammy red carpet. A sleek bun, lined eye, and a pair of black Christian Louboutin pumps would put the perfect finishing touches this look for Amy.I think that one of the most anticipated moments of the Grammy Awards red carpet is the first appearance of Beyonce’s baby bump. Beyonce has the most nominations with nine total from her controversial visual album Lemonade. There is a speculation that Beyonce will hit the Grammy red carpet wearing one final custom couture gown from Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy, but I am not so sure. The statement from Riccardo was that he would be exiting the label immediately, so I think that the chances are very slim. I would love to see Beyonce go for bold modern glamour with her first baby bump red carpet moment with this strapless black Stephane Roland Spring 2012 Couture mermaid gown which features sheer panel, some beautiful beading, and a dramatic train. While this gown is very classic in style I think that Beyonce would really turn it into something that could top best dressed lists. Adding a sleek ponytail, smokey eye, nude lip, black Christian Louboutin pumps, and a statement Harry Winston diamond and emerald collar necklace would definitely ensure that Bey secures her spot on the Grammy best dressed list.chrissy-teigan-2017-grammy-awards-red-carpet-wish-list-1Chrissy Teigan isn’t nominated or performing at the but her hubby John Legend is going to be one of the evenings performers so I am sure that Chrissy will be on the red carpet, as usual, supporting him. Chrissy is one of my favorite plus ones and I am always getting excited when John is announces as a performer or presenter because I know that she will always be close by looking glamorous. For the Grammy Awards red carpet I would love to see Chrissy rock this black velvet Galia Lahav Spring 2017 Couture jumpsuit which features a portrait neckline and lace tulle train. This look screams 90’s goth glam and I am really hoping that someone gives it a red carpet moment, and I really think that Chrissy would more than do it justice. Rounding this look out with a pair of embellished Christian Louboutin ‘Diva Cora’ black pumps, a sleek bun, red lip, and a pair of gold set Bulgari diamond and emerald earrings would ensure that this is a killer moment for Chrissy. gwen-stefani-2017-grammy-awards-red-carpet-wish-list-1Gwen Stefani is nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media with a a host of the cast of Trolls for their part in performing Can’t Stop The Feeling. I am really hoping that Gwen takes to the red carpet at the Grammy’s on Sunday because she has been on her way back to being one of my favorite red carpet ladies again. I would love it if Gwen hit the red carpet wearing this bold orange Giambattista Valli Spring 2017 Couture one shoulder high low gown which features a bow at the hip. This gown is classic ballet beautiful in a bold citrus tone and I really think that Gwen would shut the carpet down in this stellar couture creation. A sleek bun, smokey eye, gold set diamond cluster earrings, and a pair of gold Christian Louboutin ‘Corsankle’ strappy pumps would ensure that this is yet another red carpet win for Gwen, who knows maybe she’ll perform too. kelly-clarkson-2017-grammy-awards-red-carpet-wish-list-1Kelly Clarkson can be very hit or miss when it comes to what she wears on the red carpet. Kelly has been one that has gone up and down in her weight and dressing for the size of the moment can be difficult for her. For the Grammy Awards, where she is nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance, I would love to see Kelly go for soft edge with this very glamorous light pink Angel Sanchez Spring 2017 RTW long sleeve gown which features a defined waist and an asymmetrical neckline. I think that this gown would be so elegant on Kelly and the slightly edgy neckline makes it perfect for the Grammy Awards red carpet. A simple pair of gold sandals, a chic updo, lined eye, pink lip, and a statement cocktail ring would absolutely turn this look into a perfect red carpet moment.miranda-lambert-2017-grammy-awards-red-carpet-wish-list-1Rounding out today’s Grammy wishes is Country superstar Miranda Lambert. Miranda has some up and down style and I am hoping that for the Grammy Awards where she is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song that she is back on top form. This fuchsia Roberto Cavalli Pre-Fall 2017 evening gown which features a halter neckline, serpent ring neckline detail, and sheath maxi length silhouette would put Miranda back on top. My favorite past Grammy look from Miranda was also a Cavalli moment and I think that this could rival, and/or surpass that gown. Finishing the look with soft old Hollywood waves, a smokey eye, gold clutch, and gold sandals would ensure that this is a gorgeous moment for Miranda.

The 2017 Grammy Awards are Sunday Night February 12, 2017. I will be tweeting all the red carpet and performance looks, feel free to join me!
