We have come to the last of the women nominated for a SAG Award in an individual category with the ladies nominated for Best Actress in a Television Movie or Limited Series. This category is pretty much a decided fact as to who will win the Actor statue. Audra McDonald is nominated for her performance in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill, a role for which she originated on Broadway and subsequently won a Tony Award for. Audra is not expected to take home the actor trophy, but I would still love to see her on the red carpet. I think that this gorgeous lilac Georges Hobeika Spring 2017 RTW sleeveless gown which features an a-line skirt and gorgeous beaded embroidery. This very pretty, feminine gown is perfect for the SAG Awards red carpet, and Audra’s first major post baby red carpet. A simple pair of silver sandals, silver clutch, sleek bun, diamond cluster earrings, and a smokey eye will make this a perfect post baby red carpet moment for Audra.I am pretty much indifferent to what Felicity Huffman wears on the red carpet anymore. She hasn’t given me anything to even scoff at in a very long time. I think that this black Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2017 satin crepe dress which features a standard collar with a V neckline, a square print, and a midi length silhouette would be the kind of look that Felicity would wear. The standard style of this dress makes for the perfect dress for Felicity. Rounding the look out with a pair of black pumps, a loose ponytail, barely there makeup, and a black clutch would finish this look in the very standard Felicity way.Kerry Washington debuted Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet, but I have to say that I was not a fan. I am hoping that on next Sunday’s red carpet that Kerry is going to wear something absolutely gorgeous. The more relaxed vibe at the SAG Awards make it the perfect red carpet for Kerry to wear this dark red and periwinkle Versace Spring 2017 RTW embellished fishnet gown which features a plunging neckline, and column silhouette. I think that this gown is perfect for the SAG red carpet and Kerry is one of the perfect people to really make this gown come to life on the red carpet. With the effortless glam of this look the styling will be key. I would keep it very simple with a sleek ponytail, ruby satin sandals, dark red lip, a pair of ruby cluster earrings, and a diamond cuff bracelet to really make this the perfect SAG ensemble. Sarah Paulson is the one who is the most likely to take home the bronze Actor statue at the Screen Actors Guild Awards next Sunday night. As this is the last major red carpet moment for Sarah as she finishes making the rounds for The People vs. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story and her award winning role as Marcia Clarke. I am hoping that she rounds out this run in high style. I have wanted someone to bring this red ombré Elie Saab Fall 2014 Couture chiffon gown which features a plunging halter neckline and a flowing skirt since it first took to the runway and I would think that it would be absolutely gorgeous on Sarah. While her bad two tone hair has ruined some of her looks recently I think that if done in a very sleek way paired with a red lip, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of red sandals that this could be another really amazing moment for Sarah. The proverbial cherry on top.
I will be live tweeting the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet on Sunday January 29, 2016 starting at 6PM, feel free to follow and join me for fashion ids and fun snark.
