On February 6, 2017 the cast of the HBO limited series Big Little Lies will step out on a red carpet in LA to premiere the series. There is a lot of star power in this series and I am very excited to see what the cast will bring to the red carpet. Nicole Kidman is one of the many lovely ladies in this cast and I am intrigued to see what she will bring to the red carpet. I have not been a fan of any of Nicole’s red carpet looks so far this year, and with an Oscar nomination looming (and quite possibly a nominee by the time this red carpet comes around) I am really hoping that Nicole’s style is on tip top form from here on out. For this premiere I went with this black asymmetrical Christian Dior Fall 2016 Couture trapeze dress which features abstract white petal embellishments. By the time this premiere happens there will be Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first couture collection for Dior, but there are still a lot of unworn gowns from the Fall 2016 Couture collection that I would like to see on the red carpet. This gorgeous dress is perfect for an HBO event series premiere. It is elegant without being too much. I would love to see Nicole go really glam with styling this look adding a sleek updo, red lip, diamond drop earrings, a diamond bracelet, and a pair of red satin Roger Vivier ‘Choc’ crystal buckle embellished pumps would perfectly round out this look for Nicole. Reese Witherspoon rarely pushes fashion boundaries and I would bet that come the LA premiere of Big Little Lies that wont change. I would love to see Reese wearing this gorgeous emerald green strapless Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2017 column dress which features a thick fringe skirt. This dress is pretty standard but the thick fringe on the skirt make it a little bit more visually impactful. The silhouette is standard Reese but the visual impact of the fringe and the color would really make this a stand out look for her. Finishing the look with a loose low bun, gold set diamond cluster earrings, and a pair of gold lame Jimmy Choo ‘Manda’ glitter crystal broach embellished pumps would really turn this into an A+ look for Reese. Rounding out this list is Shailene Woodley. I am hoping that after a bit of an off year last year that Shailene will be back on top of her game this year. I know that she and stylist Ilaria Urbinati can make some really sweet magic together and I am ready for that to be the case again. I would love to see Shailene hit the red carpet at this premiere wearing this gorgeous magma embroidered shirred bodice Sally LaPointe Pre-Fall 2017 cocktail dress which features a plunging neckline, an embellished bodice and an empire waistline in a black column silhouette skirt. I think that this dress meshes the more down to earth glam and high glam in the perfect way to make it a major moment for Shailene. A pair of black and brown Christian Louboutin ‘Explorete’ pumps, sleek high ponytail, and a smokey eye will ensure that this look is an absolutely major red carpet moment for Shai.
