After the main event comes all the fabulous after parties. On Golden Globes night everyone all kinda sets up shop right there in different parts of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, which is where the ceremony itself takes place. There are a bunch of parties inside the hotel, which makes in incredibly easy for the stars to party hop. HBO, Amazon, FOX, NBC Universal, Weinstein Co. & Netflix, and Warner Bros./InStyle are the confirmed parties that will take place in the hotel as well as agencies CAA and WME, who are hosting off site parties. Most people start their night at the Warner Bros./InStyle party before heading to the network or agency parties. While there are not nearly as many people who come out for the Globes parties that aren’t invited to the main ceremony or change from their main carpet gowns there are a few. Jaime King is one of the stars that I expect will be on the red carpet at the Warner Bros./InStyle party. After attending the Art of Elysium gala tonight I would only expect that Jaime will stay in LA and attend Globes parties. The moment I saw this blush Fendi Pre-Fall 2017 stripe and floral gown Jaime immediately came to mind. I think that this would be the perfect gown for her to wear for a Golden Globes after party. A tight bun, pink lip, diamond drop earrings, and a pair of gold sandals would really push this look over the top. Nina Dobrev is almost always on the red carpet at the Warner Bros./InStyle party and I am really hoping that she will be out on the carpet again tomorrow night. Nina is always one of my favorite women on the red carpet and I am really excited that she is gearing up for a big promo tour for xXx: Return of Xander Cage. With that in mind I think that an appearance at a Globe party is definitely warranted. I think that this vibrant purple Nina Ricci Spring 2017 RTW column gown which features a deep scoop neckline, and tone on tone vertical sequin stripes would be a stand out look. Nina wears jewel tones in such a major way that this would just add to her bank of amazing red carpet moments. I would pair the look with a matching clutch and sandals, dazzling diamond drop earrings, old Hollywood waves, and a smokey eye to really make this the moment I know it could be. Sarah Jessica Parker is the only nominee on this wish list. I am super excited that Sarah is going to be making her Golden Globe Awards red carpet return tomorrow night. I hope that the magic that the used to have is back in full force with her return. The floral Elie Saab Couture gown is great for the ceremony, but I feel like SJP would ditch for any of the after parties. Sarah is most likely to be spotted hanging out at the HBO party, since it is the home to her nominated show and the network that jettisoned her to super-stardom. I would love to see Sarah hit the red carpet to the party wearing this gorgeous Ralph & Russo Fall 2016 Couture tea length gown. This is a very glamorous and pretty dress, perfect for SJP. I would have her wear the gown with a black strapless body suit underneath, to add a little bit of modesty to the gown. Finish the look with loose waves, a smokey eye, diamond chandelier earrings, and a pair of SJP Collection ‘Exultant’ metallic slingback sandals to really make another killer look for Sarah. Selena Gomez is another that is usually in attendance at the Warner Bros./InStyle party. Last year Selena wore a pretty J. Mendel gown. This year I went with something a little more dazzling with this disco inspired gold Elie Saab Spring 2017 RTW gown which features a tiered and flounced column silhouetted skirt and a halter styled neckline with a cutwork details. Last year was not Selena’s best year on the red carpet but it ended on a high not with her custom red Prada gown at the American Music Awards, and this gold Elie Saab gown would kick off 2017 in high style. A pair of gold sandals, smokey eye, low ponytail, and diamond cluster earrings would really round this look out to really give Selena that amazing start to 2017. Last but not least to round out my Golden Globe Awards wishes is the always gorgeous Zendaya. Last year instead of just attending after-parties Zendaya was able to score a seat at a table at the main ceremony. I don’t know if she will be so lucky again this year. If not I am sure that she would be welcome at the Warner Bros./InStyle party. I would love to see Zendaya hit the red carpet wearing this ‘sand dune’ colored Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2017 RTW gown which features a one shouldered neckline, twist detailing at waist, and a high slit at the leg. This gown would come across like a naked dress on Zendaya, but in a much classier way. I would add a statement collar gold set diamond necklace, a pair of nude sandals, red lip, lined eye, and sleek ponytail to really ensure that Zendaya is on top form.
I will be live-tweeting the red carpet and ceremony of the 2017 Golden Globe Awards tomorrow night starting at 6PM EST. Grab a glass of champagne and follow me on Twitter to find out what all the stars are wearing on the red carpet.
