Now that all the presenter wishes are out of the way I have just a few more wishes for the Golden Globe Awards red carpet. There are some women with great style who aren’t set to present but have husbands that are either nominated or presenting. I am praying that Blake Lively is by the side of Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy nominated hubby Ryan Reynolds when he steps out on the red carpet tomorrow. Blake has always been one of my favorite women to see take to the red carpet because she is so effortlessly chic, while wearing some of the best clothes in the world. I went back and forth on what gown I really wanted to see Blake wear for the Globes on Sunday and I ultimately settled on this dazzling silver Michael Kore Pre-Fall 2017 sleeveless gown which features all over embellishments and beaded fringe. It is going to take a woman with a lot of elegance and glamour to make this gown work on the red carpet and I think that Blake would be a perfect choice, she might even upstage her Hubby on what is sounding like is going to be his big night. Since the dress is so dazzling on its own I would just have Blake style this look with old Hollywood waves, a glossy pink lip, diamond cluster earrings, and a pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Patinana’ strass embellished t-strap sandals to make this her most dazzling look yet.One of the last presenters announced for tomorrow’s Golden Globe Awards was John Legend, who has won a Globe and is part of the cast of the Best Motion Picture – Musical/Comedy nominated La La Land. What I love about John is that he and wife Chrissy Teigan are literally relationship goals. He is by her side when she is rocking it and she is rocking it by his side when its his time. I am very excited to see what Chrissy will wear on the red carpet tomorrow night. I would love to see Chrissy wearing this black, red, & white Naeem Khan Spring 2017 RTW abstract swirl color-blocked gown which features a one shoulder neckline, sexy split, column silhouette, and a cape like train. I have been waiting to see this gown since I first saw it take to the runway at New York Fashion Week back in September of last year, and I think that Chrissy would more than do this gown justice. Hair pulled behind her ears, a smokey eye, rose pink lip, strappy black sandals, and diamond drop earrings would round this look out perfectly.Jennifer Aniston took a quick break from wearing her signature black on the red carpet when she wore a multicolored embroidered Roberto Cavalli gown on the red carpet at the LA premiere of Office Christmas Party. Despite that I bet that if she attends the Golden Globe Awards tomorrow night with hubby and presenter Justin Theroux that she is back in black. I went with this black Alberta Ferretti Spring 2017 RTW gown which features an a-line shape, scoop neckline, and a tiered construction because of it’s relaxed style. We don’t usually see Jennifer in a whole lot of detailed dresses, and since she would just be a guest I really don’t think that she would be bringing anything showstopping to the table. Her standard lob hairstyle, barely there makeup, and a pair of black pumps would round out this look in a very Jennifer Aniston way. And last but not least is the wife of Best Original Song nominee Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel. At the Critics Choice Awards, where she supported Justin wearing Elie Saab, Jessica debuted a new set of bangs. I am not the biggest fan of them, not very many can pull them off, and I am hoping that they disappear by tomorrow night. To really have a stand out plus one look I went with this emerald Marchesa Pre-Fall 2017 silk gown which features an asymmetric one shoulder silhouette, peplum waist, and column style skirt. I think that this gown Jessica would be fantastic. She would look so modern and elegant while standing at Justin’s side as they walk the red Golden Globes red carpet together. Styling this gown with a sleek updo, a light pink lip, lined eye, gold set diamond cluster earrings, and a pair of gold Giuseppe Zanotti ‘Darcie’ sandals would really make this a knockout look for Jessica.
I will be live-tweeting the red carpet and ceremony of the 2017 Golden Globe Awards tomorrow night starting at 6PM EST. Grab a glass of champagne and follow me on Twitter to find out what all the stars are wearing on the red carpet.
