We have reached my final premiere wish list for the Cannes Film Festival, only one more post for the wish list for the Closing Ceremony after this. The premiere of It’s Only The End Of The World is one of the premiere’s that I am most looking forward to seeing as the Xavier Dolan film stars some of the women who always shut it down at Cannes. Lea Seydoux is one of those lovely ladies but I have to say that I am afraid that her current partnership with Louis Vuitton is going to ruin her. I only picked Louis Vuitton for the photocall of the film. I think that nautical print Louis Vuitton Fall 2016 RTW silk scarf style dress would be absolutely gorgeous on Lea, and is perfect for the setting overlooking the French Riviera. For the premiere I would most like to see Lea take to the red carpet at the Palais de Festivals wearing a custom gown from Prada or Miu Miu, as she always gets the best looks from the brand and hasn’t had the same luck with Louis Vuitton. I did however pick a gorgeous gold Elie Saab Fall 2015 Couture spaghetti strap fully embellished ballgown for Lea to wear on the red carpet at the festival. I think that this is one of the gorgeous gowns from the collection that I can’t believe hasn’t been worn on the red carpet yet and I think that this is the perfect opportunity for it to get a red carpet moment. It’s Only The End Of The World is the second film that Marion Cotillard will be in Cannes to promote. I am hoping that she has better fashion than she did last year. With the future of Dior in limbo until the end of the month I am hoping that Marion’s tight leash that she has been under will be loosened. I picked Dior, out of obligation, for Marion to wear for the Cannes Film Festival photocall with this multi tone blue look with two different fully embellished floral patterned Christian Dior Spring 2016 Couture long sleeve mini dress. I think that for a photocall in Cannes that this is a perfect look for Marion. For the premiere I ditched Dior in favor of a black Giambattista Valli Spring 2016 Couture strapless, ruffled, ballgown. This is one of those gowns that I am really hoping will be worn on the Cannes carpet, and I think that Marion has the chops to make it work. I would add a pair of statement Christian Dior “Verticale Godet Saphir” earrings in 18K white gold, diamonds, sapphires and Paraiba tourmalines, a pair of black Dior pumps, a chic updo, and a bright red lip would ensure that Marion really shuts down the red carpet at Cannes.
