I had a date confirmed for the London premiere of The Huntsman: Winter’s War, but since I set everything up I lost the date and now I can’t find it anywhere. Anyway, I am going to continue to make a few wishes for the red carpet (if it is still scheduled to happen.) Charlize Theron shocked me by going sans Dior at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards opting to wear a gorgeous Alexander McQueen look. I am hoping that we will see Charlize stray from Dior a bit more often with her upcoming red carpet looks. I decided to opt to put Charlize in this gorgeous black Alexis Mabille Spring 2016 Couture embroidered silk tulle gown for this red carpet because I think it would make for such a glamorous red carpet moment from Charlize. I would keep this look styled with all Dior accessories including a black satin clutch, a pair of black satin and mesh glittered pumps, Dior “Cocotte Émeraude” earrings and a “Corolle Jour Émeraude” ring in 18K white gold, diamonds and emeralds to ensure that Charlize is representing Dior even though the main focus is a gorgeous couture creation not from the house. We saw that Emily Blunt is embracing her baby bump on the red carpet at the LA premiere of The Huntsman: Winter’s War last night, and I have to say that I am really intrigued to see more of her red carpet maternity style. I picked this cream Valentino Spring 2016 Couture draped goddess gown for Emily because I believe that it would drape ever so elegantly over her burgeoning bump, and seriously who wouldn’t want to wear couture during their pregnancy? Can anyone say #BestDressedBaby before the baby even comes into the world? While I think we would have to loose the gold body chain detail, and I was sad when Olivia Wilde didn’t wear her look with it at the Oscars, I would still add some sort of gold statement necklace, a gold clutch, a pair of gold pumps, a pink lip and loose Veronica Lake waves to ensure that Emily continues to wow on the red carpet. Jessica Chastain is usually one that I am fawning over when it comes to her red carpet looks, but so far this year she hasn’t given me anything to really get me excited. I am hoping that this is just a blip on the radar because I really look forward to her red carpet appearances. For the London premiere of The Huntsman: Winter’s War I would love to see Jessica go for something chic, pretty and dainty, which is exactly what this golden Elie Saab Fall 2015 Couture peplum lace gown with a plunging neckline is. I think this gown appropriately meshes Edwardian elegance with Hollywood glamour and I think Jessica would be the perfect woman to give this gown a red carpet moment. As we all know Jessica hates to carry a clutch on the red carpet so I picked a look that wouldn’t need that detail. Just a pair of simple gold sandals, a chic romantic updo, and a red lip would add the perfect finishing touches to bring Jessica back to the forefront of my fashion love.
