Next Tuesday (April 12, 2016) the cast of the latest installment of the Marvel series Captain America: Civil War will take to the red carpet in LA to premiere the film. If the films cast shows up we are in for quite the glamorous red carpet. One starlet I am really looking forward to seeing on the red carpet is Scarlett Johansson. ScarJo has recently skipped quite a few of the movie premieres she has been a cast member of and I do not know why. I am hoping that she breaks her red carpet hiding for this premiere. It has been a while since we have seen a real sexy look from Scarlett and I think that this army green Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2016 Couture gown would be perfect to add a little sizzle to Scarlett’s red carpet persona. This gown meshes glamour and sex appeal in a way that only Vauthier can accomplish. On some this gown might come across as trying to hard or being overtly sexy but I think on Scarlett that this has the potential to be a gorgeous red carpet moment. I would round this look out with some Tom Ford accessories including a gold ‘Sedgwick’ allover sequin zip clutch and gold metallic ankle buckle sandals. Finishing up with a red lip and a sleek hairstyle and Scarlett will have a gorgeous red carpet moment. Captain America: Civil War merges the worlds of Captain America and Iron Man so naturally Gwyneth Paltrow also makes an appearance during the film. I am second guessing my choice to put Gwyneth in this gorgeous navy Valentino Spring 2016 Couture gown. Not that it isn’t something that Gwyneth wouldn’t wear on the red carpet but I am starting to think that it might be a little too much for her to wear on this red carpet. I am kinda getting a vibe that Gwynie will bring something simple and black, maybe by Tom Ford. I haven’t loved one of Gwyneth’s red carpet looks in a very long time, and sadly I am getting a vibe that that isn’t going to change any time soon. Elizabeth Olsen is the final person for today’s wish list. Elizabeth plays Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in the Marvel franchise and it among the cast of the star studded ensemble of Captain America: Civil War. There was once a time when I would have been excited to see what Elizabeth would be rocking on the red carpet, but since her first year on the red carpet I have been very disappointed with her looks. Elizabeth tends to underwhelm me on the red carpet and I am honestly not picking something that would blow me away either. Based on Elizabeth’s standard red carpet picking I picked this grey fully embellished Michael Kors Pre-Fall spaghetti strap column gown. This likens to a simple tank top gown and I think that Elizabeth would be all over it. There is a way to elevate this look to a major moment. With a gunmetal grey Eddie Borgo ‘Vic’ minaudiere, a pair of steel grey Jimmy Choo ‘Tizzy’ metallic pixelated leather sandals, beachy waves, simple makeup, and a pair of simple diamond drop earrings this could be a look that I actually take notice of on Elizabeth come this red carpet premiere.
